This was our first visit into The Eat Shop. It is safe to say it will not be our last. My mom use to say desert first. I agree for this place. I got 3 of the Cherry bars. I had trouble stopping at just one as I wanted to take one home for the kid my husband had his afterwards and it was decadent.

I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything complimented each other. It was fabulous.

My husband had a very cherry ham and cheese. He was very pleased. He said the flavor combination melt and blend together perfectly.

Loves this place but glad we don’t live closer. I can feel the pounds adding just looking at all these delicious treats.

It’s a small menu which is so refreshing. I’d much rather someone have a small menu and do what they do great then have to many choices.

Such a cute atmosphere inside and the food is beyond delicious! It’s my first time here & I already can’t wait to come back. The key lime pie is as good as you’d find in the South. The holiday turkey, with the cranberry compote is amazing! I switched to their homemade focaccia bread, and I’m so glad I did.

OBSESSED w The Eat Shop in Marion! I went for a latte and bagel bomb today and they were both delish. I’ve had the breaky sandwiches at their IC location and those are great too. I also picked up a tray of their take and bake cinnamon rolls.
The whole restaurant is sooo gorgeous and they even have a patio that overlooks the park so you can enjoy a mimosa or latte while your kids play. The staff is super friendly and nice. They even have a little corner w articles from the original Eat Shop. The current owners great Aunt opened the original in the 1950’s! I literally love everything here!

I recently visited The Eat Shop with a few friends while we were working on a school project. We had been sitting there for about half an hour, mainly focused on our work, and were planning to order something shortly. Unfortunately, before we had the opportunity, a staff member approached us in a very impolite manner and asked whether we were going to order anything. Before giving us a chance to answer, she then told us that if we wouldn’t order we would have to leave because the table was only for paying customers.

We completely understand that cafés rely on customers who make purchases. Usually, the food there is very good and the drinks are as well, which makes this experience even more disappointing. It’s sad that we were treated this way, especially since we had intended to order. The tone and phrasing made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and a more polite approach would have made a big difference.

Because of this interaction, we decided to leave without ordering. It’s unfortunate, as we normally enjoy coming here. I hope in the future customer concerns can be addressed in a friendlier and more respectful manner.

So excited to have this new coffee and bakery place. Plenty of cute seating indoor and outdoor. Food is fresh. The coffee was amazing and I’m very picky on my latte or cappuccino. The ladies that work there were super friendly.

I went here with my two boys (13 and 9) for breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and patient as we decided what to order. We ate inside, but there is a lovely outdoor area that I would recommend.

The Eat Shop in Marion has only been open for a couple weeks and I’ve been multiple times. My favorite items so far are the cinnamon roll, caramel pecan roll & kolaches. I love that they also offer breakfast and lunch. The space is absolutely beautiful, they have a private room for meetings or parties that you can book and there is plenty of free parking out front. The staff is friendly and you can even watch them bake while you’re waiting in line. As a Marion native and resident, I’m thrilled to have The Eat Shop here!

This was my first time at The Eat Shop in Marion.

I had the Cranberry Pecan Salad with chicken. The salad greens were fresh. The cold cubed chicken comes in a 4 oz plastic container as do the pecans & cranberries. At just $2/container of chicken, I’d recommend ordering 2 containers of chicken. The dressing is a prepackaged Kraft dressing pouch. Just from the beauty of the place & windows into the huge kitchen, I was kinda expecting a homemade vinegarette. The beverages are all bottled beverages from the cooler unless you order coffee. I had asked for iced tea, but when I learned it’s bottled, I chose water instead.

The staff are very friendly, its extremely clean and so cute inside.
