My family and I dined here on a Sunday evening and it was reasonably busy, but we didn’t have a line to order and found seating and parking easily. Ordering and picking up food is done at the counter, but everyone is super friendly and helpful. I got the Bay Ken Mushroom burger, which was huge and perfectly cooked. The fries were fresh and super good. I also got a non dairy milkshake which was fine. My only problem was that most of the fountain sodas were out. It was a good meal at a normal price for kosher meat meals. I would visit here again.

Awesome place!
I’m from out of town and came in with my mother who just moved to the area. We met Karen immediately when walking into the diner and enjoyed her company the whole time we were in.
The food is excellent, and the atmosphere feels like home.
I 100% recommend to anyone looking for good food in a local kosher diner.
Looking forward to many more visits.

Delicious kosher diner with a nostalgic and friendly atmosphere. Perfect for gluten free and vegan folks as well. My boyfriend got the pastrami on marbled rye and I got mine on a GF bun. They also will fry the fries in a dedicated fryer if you’re vegan/gluten free. We absolutely will be back and greatly appreciated the hospitality & delicious eats!

The lady who greeted us as we walked in and took our order at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good. The gentleman who came by our table (assuming the owner) also was very friendly when asking how our meal was.

However, as I went to use the restroom at the end of my meal, one of the staff chased after me as I entered one of the restrooms, cornered me by standing in the threshold, stopped me from closing the door, and insisted I exit and wait for the other restroom to become available. There are 2 separate single-occupancy private restrooms with locking doors. I didn’t realize until she confronted me that they were separately labeled for men and women. When the restrooms are single-occupancy, why does it matter who uses which one? Who cares?! People don’t have separate restrooms in their homes for men and women. This behavior is aggressive, unacceptable, and WEIRD. There is no valid reason to enforce gender exclusivity for single-occupancy restrooms. Following anyone into any private restroom is harassment.

My son and I went there by sheer accident and we were extremely surprised. Not only was the employee Karen very friendly but also very knowledgeable about all the food there.
She stayed and talked w my son and I about all sorts of things and made the stay very enjoyable.
The food was outstanding- there was so much and our napkin count was unbelievable due to how much there was.
The place was very clean very much of the 1960 atmosphere. Very fun!
I recommend this place because how much fun we had and such friendly atmosphere all around.
A must see!

Absolutely, incredible food, experience, and staff! As someone with celiac, dining options are very limited but Ken’s diner had so many gluten free options and Dan and Karen went out of their way to make sure there wasn’t any sort of cross contamination! They have a gluten free dedicated fryer and grill and were super accommodating! Would highly recommend visiting Ken’s Diner with or without dietary restrictions!!

Burger was nicely charred. The hot chicken poppers were so juicy and delicious! The Chicago style puppy dog had a mountain of toppings and probably didn’t need that much, but the hot dog itself was great! They have options for fountain and canned drinks.

Such a cool experience. Not so often do vegans get the same full variety and authentic diner experience. The vegan menu had so many options and the prices (kosher + vegan!) were unbeatable. Highly recommend the vegan hot dog and milkshake, and the fries were perfect. Such friendly staff too!
