First of all, our server was the sweetest girl. Very attentive and courteous. The only reason I’m giving the service 4 stars instead of 5 is because the kitchen sent the michelada I ordered without the garnish, and served the shrimp, cucumber, and lemon in a bowl on the side halfway through the meal.
The fish tacos were great and good portions. Wonderful flavor.

On the upside, the complimentary chips that come before the meal are made and tasted fresh. The salsa was homemade, and when refilled, it was warm and fresh. You also get a warm cup of seafood broth before the meal with the chips. Overall, it was a good experience, but could be great with a few, but important changes.

Food was very good. Reasonable prices with good amount of food. Fish fillet with stuffed seafood and tacos gobernador are recommended. Service was great, very attentive. Atmosphere casual, clean restaurant but restroom needed paper towels.

Food was absolutely flavorless, shrimp was not fresh tasted like the frozen kind and the seafood soup was more like fish soup with a crab in it (which was disgusting) only 2 stars because the server was ok. I though because it has the name as the Amigo on Boca Chica it would taste the same.. no, big mistake.
