Tampa Bay Food Tours is always on the hunt for great waterfront dining, and Palmette at the Westin delivers beautiful views both indoors and out. There’s even a small beach area and plenty of watercraft rentals to watch while you dine.
We found the lunch menu a bit limited and pricey, but satisfying — we enjoyed the burger and Cuban sandwich al fresco. Valet parking is currently free, which is helpful since the garage requires a credit card.
The interior is spacious and stunning, with a breakfast buffet area connected to the bar and lots of water-view tables. The kid’s menu offers all the classics for $9. Visit soon — and tell them Tampa Bay Food Tours sent you!

Nicely done renovation of what was Aqua at the Westin. The menu was different from what we looked up online because they’re working on narrowing down the menu. Food, drinks, and service were good. Our check had an issue of items being on there that weren’t ours but they fixed it, no problem.

My husband and I came here for dinner tonight The food was very underwhelming… we started with the muscles and ceviche. The toastets that were served with the muscles were cold and stale additionally there was no garlic butter sauce with the muscles as stated on the menu. The ceviche was was saturated in a lemon juice and not seasoned to taste. We also ordered a pizza, which was half charred on one side. My husband ordered the snapper as his entree which was good. I ordered the steak frites ordered medium rare, it came out well… very chewy and no flavor. The drinks were good.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Half of the pizza was over cooked. The mussels did not have a sauce and the toastlets with it were stale which the waiter explained that’s how they come. My wife ordered steak frites medium rare and it was well. The ceviche was under seasoned. I ordered the red snapper and it was good but over cooked. I would not consider this restaurant.

Had breakfast this morning, stopped in after visiting the Starbucks. The breakfast team this morning were all so friendly, and seemed to truly work as a team. Shout out to Mary and Meitte and Fernando, the servers, and Mattias, the host. Fantastic.

We stayed at The Westin hotel to celebrate our anniversary, we decided to come down to Palmette for breakfast and we fell in love with the place, the decor looks modern and vibrant. We had the Cuban hash and the breakfast buffet. Food was amazing, great presentation, and food came out really fast. We will definitely come back, and huge shout out to our server Robyn, she did an amazing job, she was always checking on us me explained every dish to us.
