Mellow pizza place serving pies & other casual Italian dishes in an unassuming setting.

It had been over 10 years since my last visit. But enjoyed their pepperoni pie as much as I probably did back then. Got there shortly after opening. Plenty of seating. Guy working the counter was cool. A few pickup order folks came and left while I was there. Would certainly return.

What a nice a little pizza spot! The price of $4.50 is a little steep for a single slice, and $1 more per topping. however, the pizza was wonderfully balanced. I loved how crispy the crust was. The sauce was rich, but not overpowering. The atmosphere had a warm, family, welcoming feel. The staff were very friendly and professional. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely want to try their sausage pizza and some desserts!
3*** = Just Okay
4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back.
5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

Pinos is always a great choice for our family. It’s a local Italian restaurant that caters to the neighborhood but always serves the most authentic dishes. You know the chefs take pride in their food because the food is always made to order.

Overall this place was good. It was pricey, but the quality of the food was good. Amazing Greek salad and the calzone was huge. Very casual atmosphere, not fancy at all. Order at the counter, sit wherever, and pick up your food at the counter.

First of all, I found it strange that the restaurant was a sit-down establishment and they still had a counter for ordering. Second, when my food arrived, the chicken Parmesan was overcooked and dried. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken Parmesan sandwich because the chicken Parmesan itself looked like a complete mess, as if it didn’t have enough sauce.

The crust had some chew good to it, the sauce was good and just amount of grease.
Definitely going back.

Recently moved to the area and have been enjoying trying different takeout options but nothing has made me want to immediately return like Pinos. I was drawn to them from the pictures of pepperoni pizzas (I love the kind that cups up when you cook them) and decided to try a few different options. The pep pizza, sausage calzone, caeser salad, and cannoli were all fantastic. Wish they had a better web presence — it almost turned me away — but I’ll be calling in another order soon.

This was almost a five star place for me, very close. The food was excellent and well-prepared, however the marinara/red sauce with the calzone was watery and not very thick.
In terms of service, it was very good and the server was nice but there was basically only one person for the entire dining room for lunch and it was a bit slow.
All things considered definitely a great place to get pizza!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Phoenix Gem!
Pino’s Pizza Al Centro serves up authentic Italian flavor with a warm, welcoming vibe. The pizza is perfectly balanced—crispy crust, fresh toppings, and rich sauce. Specials like the lasagna are outstanding, and the tiramisu is the perfect finish. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make this a must-visit in Phoenix!

This was my first time dining at Pinos, and it will not be the last. They no longer have dining room servers, so you place your order at the counter near the entrance. Our food came out fresh and timely. We were in and out in 45 minutes.
