This is very very authentic Korean food. I think the most authentic you can get. I unfortunatley sort of caved and got the Americanized options. But to say I was satisfied is an understatement. The portions sizes are very generous and the taste and quality is great. Will definetly be back. I would argue this is the best Korean food in centerville. The flavors and seasoning are on point.

I’ve noticed that the overall quality of Korean Chinese restaurants in NOVA has declined over the years. In the past, I would have rated this place three stars, but given the current standard, I’m giving it four.
Overall, the food was decent. I always order either Samseon Seafood Jjajangmyeon with rice or Jjamppong with rice at Korean Chinese restaurants. If you’re gluten-free, you can always request rice instead of noodles for these dishes.
One restaurant I tried in Annandale served undercooked onions, so I appreciated that this place took the time to cook them properly. However, the seafood was overcooked and chewy. The restaurant was packed when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, so it seems to be a popular spot.

Jajangmyeon!!! They serve a great bowl of the popular Korean dish. Be warned, the bowl is very large. So come hungry!
We also liked the shrimp fried rice and pork tangsuyuk. A great local spot to try new foods.

Stopped by this spot for some 쟁반짜장 and it was seriously good! The noodles were chewy, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the mix of veggies and meat hit just right. What really stood out was the portion size — one order was easily enough for 3 people. Perfect for sharing and great value for the price. Definitely a go-to place when you’re craving Korean-Chinese comfort food!

pretty busy on a Sunday but no wait. portion sizes were HUGE! definitely worth the price. the black bean noodles and pork tang soo yuk tasted so delicious! we ordered the smallest size of both but still couldn’t finish. they got our orders right away and served our food quickly. i definitely recommend this spot!

Great spot for tangsuyuk and dumplings! Portions were surprisingly generous, the tangsuyuk was crispy with a perfect sweet-sour glaze, and the dumplings were flavorful without being too heavy. Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out fresh. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving solid Korean comfort dishes.

Love this place. We’re from out of state and we’ve come here about 3 times. Our state doesn’t have enough Korean (read GOOD Korean food) around so we have to go to other states. We’ve never been disappointed. For the price the food is always enough and delicious! Definitely our go-to for Chinese-Korean food!

We’ve been to Jang Won a dozen times or so at this point. The biggest issue we have with this restaurant is the inconsistency. Sometimes, the food tastes great, like a 5/5, but other times it gets as low as 2/5. The rate of this inconsistency is also fairly consistent – it’s like flipping a coin.
Also, we feel ambivalent about the overall dining experience. Sometimes, the server is well mannered, and kind, but other times it feels like they want to kick us out.

After finishing our grocery shopping at Hmart, we decided to head to this popular restaurant to try out their Chinese-Korean fusion dishes. We ended up ordering Jjajang-myeon and Tangsuyuk, both of which were delicious. However, the Jjampong was a bit too salty for my liking and lacked the spiciness and flavorful taste I expected to warm me up.
