The inside isn’t as pleasant as dining outside. Poorly lit restaurant. I believe I ordered the captains catch. The crab cake was pretty good but I couldn’t keep the food down.
Me and my husband ate here around 3 pm and the food sat on my stomach and made me feel queasy until I brought it back up 9 something that night.
We are big seafood eaters and I was not impressed.
Bathroom made me feel super uncomfortable and when you see it you’ll know exactly what I mean. I wouldn’t recommend and female to go alone.

The food here is really good. Again another No Frills not a fancy place that serves very basic but well done meals. I had the crab cake and fried shrimp combo the course I had to have silver queen corn. Also had a couple of clams as an appetizer which is awesome very good ..clean and fresh.

Great place for steamed crabs. For those of you who are reading this review and who are not from Maryland, you’ll be surprised at how good steamed Chesapeake blue crabs taste. You have to be oriented to the technique of properly dissecting the crab or else you will miss most of the meat. Trust me. First timers need the help of someone who knows how to deal with the complex exoskeleton, but it’s truly worth the time and effort.
Service was prompt and polite, and the food was good. I do have one quibble. We were a party of six. Because of that, the tip was included in the price of the meal. It said that on the bill, but it would have been nice if the server had pointed it out to me verbally.

Big Crab eaters frequent this location, but I like the Ribs and Crab cake combo. They also have delicious desserts. I’m a creature of habit because I usually get what you see here.

Still say it’s an historical site landmark in Owings Mills. Best seafood around waiters bartender bussers knows their job. Very friendly and low staff turnover so they know their Seafood. Just update the look inside the restaurant it would be lovely.

I respect the right for restaurants to “do things their own way” however I believe good businesses are transparent about what they’re doing. We’re from out of the area and made reservations for 1:00 only to show up and be told there’s no inside dining until 4:00!!! It’s 95 degrees out and they have these lil fans blowing hot air on you and they expect that to be comfortable dining???? Again, if they would simply make it clear on their website that you’re signing up for outside dining…no problem but to wait and let you show up and expect it to be okay eating outside in June in 95 degree weather is not acceptable. Just let your customers know up front and I’m sure those that still want to eat your seafood will be fine but not cool.

The Thursday night lobster special is incredible. The lobster was cooked to perfection and for a mere $5.99 more I got a half pound of large shrimp. Their shrimp salad is the best I have ever had and instead of eating it on a sandwich I had it put on lettuce greens to save on carbs.

I am from Baltimore and we were visiting from North Carolina. We wanted some seafood and my sister recommended CJ’s. We loved the food, the waitress took her time and made sure all of our questions were answered. Great experience. The prices were, to us, a little high but we wanted seafood and this was some if the best.
