There’s been a serious lack of snow this season and so I’ve been going to ojo to unwind and relax in the springs. I also always try to get dinner at the Artesian restaurant afterwards. I absolutely love the food and the service! I almost always sit in the bar area where I’ve received amazing service from all the staff. Last night I went in after a long solo soak and was taken care of by Alix. She was very attentive and made good recommendations. I had the beet salad and the trout which were both excellent. I also got a cauliflower crust pizza to go for my partner that was also really good! I highly recommend this spot and am always happy when I eat there. Thanks guys!!

On a weekend, reservations are required weeks in advance. The bar area that accepts walk-ins is tiny. They seem understaffed with every team member stretched too thin. Our green chile cheeseburgers came out without cheese but they kindly remade them. The burger seemed bland itself and relied on the green chiles to carry the flavor. The chilies were a tad spicy for me. The sweet potato fries, homemade ranch, and guacamole were delicious. Options are so limited if you’re going to be at the hot springs for a while (and why wouldn’t you want to be) but for what it is I’d eat there again.

My best friend and I ate here after soaking at Ojo Caliente, and it was the perfect way to end a relaxing day. The food was delicious! I ordered a salad with salmon, it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We also shared the tiramisu for dessert, and it was absolutely amazing. Our server was fantastic friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

Food was underwhelming for both dinner and breakfast. I got the fish tacos for dinner which was $22 for two tacos. Each taco had one piece of fish and a piece of two of slaw. Our waiter was great though and understanding. He brought me two sides/slaws to go with the tacos. My wife got a cup of soup and while it was tasty, it was cold. Again, our waiter was great and brought her a new cup of soup. Breakfast was just ok. No complaints on service but the food needs work.

We ate here twice during our stay at the Ojo Caliente resort, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was ok. The service was good, but the food was nothing exceptional. The poblano fries were good, but the salmon was overcooked and the pasta pomodoro was under seasoned.
We decided to give them another chance the next morning and ordered breakfast burritos. Again, the service was good but the food was disappointing. One of the burritos had eggshells in it.
I really wish the restaurant was better, especially considering how lovely the resort is. If you’re staying at the resort, I suggest bringing your own food and/or leaving the resort for something better. (Unfortunately there isn’t much nearby, which may be why they don’t seem to be trying very hard.)

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our meals! Steak, salmon, and lamb. The food took a long time to come out but we are in the middle of a rural area and I’m sure they aren’t fully staffed. The waiter was very friendly and the vibe was nice.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the this place. Restaurant has beautiful setting. We had quite mixed feelings about the food: squash soup was delicious, lamb was good, linguini totally bad. It was fixed pretty pricey menu and they ran out of dessert which we were planning to order ( even though we didn’t have late reservation), other desserts were extremely sweet, we would not order them if dessert wouldn’t be part of the course. We tried them but didn’t eat -unbearable sweet.

It’s a nice treat to be able to dine in proximity to the hot spring. The menu is vegetarian friendly. The tortilla soup was quite good. However, there weren’t much options other than salads for smaller food portions. I ordered vegetarian wrapps and had to take them out. The one negative comment that I have is the communication between the host and waiters. We had to ask for someone to attend us after several minutes of waiting as we were sitting in a separate dining area. We also asked for a couple of things along with our order but our waiter appeared to have forgot and we didn’t bother to ask again. Overall, a good experience.

This restaurant deserves more than its current 3.6 stars – the meal we had was truly delicious! Our server Natasha was wonderful and she recommended the mussels with added pasta, and it was incredible. Seriously, you have to get the mussels – they were the standout of the meal, even outshining the tasty salmon. Skip the cocktails (which seem to just be wine-based margaritas) and stick to the local beers instead. The blue corn muffins with salted butter were a nice start, but the tortilla soup was a bit too tomato-forward. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience – the mussels alone make this place worth visiting!

Have eaten here multiple times- always in the wine bar area. Love the mixed drinks (try the agave wine margarita), and the appetizers and entrees are amazing. The servers are friendly, and it’s an intimate but lively setting.
