I’ve spent my last 15 years living in Texas where I learned to appreciate good Texas bbq. When I came home to Onaway to visit for the first time in a few years I was very excited to find a Texas style bbq place. Today was their last opening of the year and it compares to some of the top bbq in TX. Josh does a great job perfectly seasoning his meats and the turkey and brisket were some of the most tender I’ve ever had. It’s hard to get a crisp skin on smoked chicken, but Josh pulled it off perfectly. And the beans!

The brisket is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The turkey is also incredible. I’m not a fan of baked beans normally, but the Oak Smoke beans are something special.
