Had my first experience here yesterday. My wife was gone to a concert with friends and I had to fend for myself for dinner. Ordered the Tampiqueña as takeout and it was so good! Large portion, steak was great and the enchiladas were out of this world. Fried plantains seemed like a bonus and were delicious also. We are looking forward to enjoying a meal together, since I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Support this great local business! You won’t be disappointed!

We ordered dinner there for the first time tonight, it was a relatively large order for ,4 adults, some extras, and four desserts. When I got there to pick it up, the inside of the building was absolutely stunning. The decorations were bright and cheery, warm and inviting. My food was sitting there waiting for me, there were quite a few bags and the girl behind the counter offered to help me carry it to my car even though it was parked all the way at dunkin’. Everyone there was so nice, I was even given a free soda with my order tonight.
When we got home we were absolutely amazed with the amount of food, the quality of the food and how delicious it was. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The flan was to die for.
Between the customer service, the warm and inviting atmosphere, the friendly staff and the absolutely delicious food wwe will absolutely be going back. I wish I can give this place 10 stars because it deserves it.

This is a gem on Main Street in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. If you enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, you will love Mi Mexico Lindo. Fresh made to order authentic Mexican food, huge portions for a fair price. The Pineapple marinated pork is tender and delicious, married with the spices and flavors of homemade guacamole, Mexican rice, fresh sauteed vegetables is a delight for any pallet. And don’t forget to try the Fried Plantains, they are an unexpected treat!

Delicious food! I ordered the steak tacos dorados and fried cheese cake, and everything was delicious. The steak was moist and flavorful, and the corn tortillas and all other ingredients tasted fresh. The fried cheese cake was sweet and tasted amazing! Great location right on Main Street and all the employees and people working there were super friendly and happy!

Authentic Mexican food without the drive! Food choices in Waymart/Carbondale get stale after you have lived here for a while, and normally I have to drive 30 to 45 mins one way to have anything remotely Mexican. The food was good, the staff was kind, the atmosphere was charming. If you are bored to tears of pizza, Chinese, or burgers, I recommend giving this a try!

My husband and I ordered a combo and shared. The food was great, portion sizes huge! The only thing that I prefer at other Mexican restaurants is salsa with the chips. They gave some black refried beans and an orangish sauce that was very mild, not bad tasting, but definitely not salsa. We also got the dessert platter to go and we were not disappointed in that either! Definitely a good one to try locally. Small, nicely decorated, attentive staff.

I usually go far from town for mexican food, I did not know this was here until a few days ago and we had it for the first time tonight. I will be coming back! We had no complaints. Everything we ordered was amazing. Even my young kids who are very picky loved the chicken tacos and chicken quesodilla! The portions were above average, the sauces were so full of flavor, everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the service when I picked up my food was great. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Smiles and greetings the second I walked in. So excited to have a place this good in my area. I didnt take pictures because I wanted to eat while it was hot but I assure you its worth seeing for yourself.

This place is soooo good! We finally got over to Carbondale to try it, and just wow. Definitely one of our new favorites. My Dad said it’s the best Mexican food he’s ever had in his life. Huge portion sizes for good prices. Their combination special platters are an especially good value. I got three gorditas, two empanadas, and Mexican street corn—all of which was insanely good—for $12. My dad got the nachos mixtos, and my mom got the birria tacos. Both were huge and equally delicious. Desserts were amazing too. The flan, especially, is a must. I’ve honestly never been crazy about flan before, but this was on another level. The custard was so thick and creamy. Also the place was so cute, and the employees were super kind and attentive. We’re not usually big Google reviewers but felt this place deserved a shoutout. If you’ve not gotten around to trying it yet, definitely give it a shot. So worth it.

This place is a hidden gem in Carbondale! My husband and I went for dinner one night and the food was amazing. The portions were huge. I couldn’t believe how many tacos you got. If you go on Taco Tuesday, you even get an extra 5th taco for the regular price. What a great deal.
