We had a lovely lunch today with a fantastic waiter! The endive/ chicory salad had the best dressing and the cold mussels with its dressing came with a bit of french bread to sop up all the juice. My daughter had th quail. Tasted a bit like thanksgiving dinner with the stuffing. Potato side had a good amount of cheese and mushrooms. My dish was the pressed beef with tongue tartar and brain mousse (I know I know). It was delicious. I didn’t like the potato that accompanied it at all though. The frying oil tasted like old french fry oil. The waiter offered a dessert which he said wasn’t because of the oil but because he has a brother living in my home state which was so sweet. I told him he did not have to do that and when we couldn’t decide between the brulee and the chocolate cake he brought both. It was too much but so very sweet and I had the best time practicing my Serbian. Atmosphere was lovely and no one was smoking (very small place). I think the salad, the mussels and a lovely soup would make an amazing lunch for one. The amuse bouche is a nice touch, very light. The bottom was a bit soggy but could be bc we left it sitting for a few minutes waiting for plates. Tastes like Brazilian cheese bread but lighter. Outstanding flavor.

Great food in nice ambient with absolutely fantastic service! Smells like Michelin 🙂 onion soup, goat meet, divine desserts are highly recommended. But even ordinary things, like bread… a lot attention for tiny details!!!

I went to this restaurant due to the good review on Gault Millau , and because I wanted to try a french-style one.
As First dishes :
The “Buche de Chevre” – The baking somehow eclipsed the tangy taste of goat cheese, It would maybe be better to give a high yet very brief heat on both sides, But the Apricot Chutney ( I an not a fan of Rosemary but it made a marvel) was a wonder
The Escargots (snails) were tradiyionnal and very well done , although little bit more salt could have been added to the Parsley butter
The Wine leaves with pheasants were a tremendous positive surprise – reminder of middle east taste (lebanon – Israel – Turkey – Druze Cooking) but with a french twist by adding Pheasant.

Soup :
Onion Soup – it was a 10/10!! –
In lots of places , you get either a clear soup with bland taste , or the opposite – too much concentrated either salty or overwhelming omami mushroom-like tase.
Here , the balance was more than perfect – intense taste but not aggressive, baguette bread and cheeses that complete the adventure , brown caramelized with hint of wine cooking – it was a real pleasure
Main dish:
Boeuf Bourguignon:
The good points :
Adding prunes to classical recipe has an extra value , the sweetness-tanin like taste of prunes add a lot
The Mashed potatoes were very good , with balanced taste of butter
The vegetables ( carrots, wild mushrooms ) were very good

The points to improve:
The “Jus’ (brown sauce) was for my taste too salty and did not have complex flavors , moreover – I think it would have been wise to add it apart in a sauciere in so that we can pour it into the purée
The beef was cooked perfectly , although I would have prefered another part with thinner muscles fibers.

The Desserts :
The “Crème Brulée” – I am a raspberry lover and I liked the final twist of crushed semi frozen rasberries in the corner , it was kinda palate cleanser.
As for the crème brulée – vanilla seeds were present , but very scarce , I would have prefered a stronger taste of vanilla. The texture was good.

The “Mousse au chocolat noir » : adding extra virgin oil + fleur de sel made a very intersting contrast – I liked it. The only issue is that it cannot be called amousse – when the texture is 90% similar of a dense ganache – for me , mousse means air bubbles , lightness. It was too dense.

The Service was very good , not intrusive , maybe also due to high attendance.

I definitely liked this place. Although there were some problems, it still did not spoil the impression. The waiter brought the wrong dish that I ordered, but they fixed it and even brought a compliment, it was a dessert chocolate mousse with olive oil and it was amazing, as well as the main dishes were very tasty, tartare is served with magnificent butter. In general, I recommend this place, although the prices are of course above average. The atmosphere was great, like a small piece of France in Belgrade

Puter is one of Belgrade’s top culinary spots – elegant, welcoming, and truly outstanding.
Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or a celebration with friends, every visit is a pleasure. The menu is creative, seasonal, and full of exquisite dishes, perfectly paired with a great wine selection. The service is warm and attentive.
A place to enjoy, celebrate, and return to – highly recommended!

From top to bottom everything is perfect. From wine choices to food options. Music is cozy, vibe is immaculate and although its small, its very intimate and perfect for dinner dates, lunch dates and get-together with friends. The two owners take great care of the place which is reflected in their Michellin star recommendation for 2026.

This place is amazing! The quality of the food is incredible. The selection of ingredients is with great attention and clearly chosen with care. I love the starters at this restaurant! I’d especially recommend the Buche du Chevre and roasted carrots. I love coming here and highly recommend it.

The food was kind of average and definitely under my expectations for a restaurant that recently got a Michelline recommendation. The sauce on one of the dishes was too salty. The sausage and fried duck eggs were basic. Even the waffle with grand marnier was dry and too mild in taste.

I have been a couple of times in Puter and I haven’t been disappointed so far. I can’t wait until they reintroduce the lamb cheeks – it is one of the best things on their menu and definitively a recommendation to try out (5/5).

Recently I was enjoying dinner and breakfast at Puter (pictures included).

Dinner:
1. Beef tartare – great flavor. The butter is combined with aromatics. 5/5
2. Crispy sweet potatoes- very crispy and seasoned perfectly. 5/5
3. Veal sweetbreads – I am not a huge fan of sweetbreads but wanted to try them out. Nice flavor and texture but the whole dish was too heavy for me – needed something citric to cut through the richness. 3.5/5
4. Veal liver – the liver was great but the mashed potatoes were gluey due to the fact that young potatoes were used. 3.5/5
5. Creme brulee – one of the best ones I tried so far. 5/5
6. Butter cake with white chocolate – enjoyed the crispy, buttery coockie with the chocolate. 5/5

Breakfast:
1. Poached eggs with sour cream and peppers – everything separately is great. When combined together feels wrong – the egg yolks don’t mix well with the rest of the dish flavor wise. 3.5/5
2. Homemade pie with spinach and cheese – very good. 4.5/5

We enjoyed the deserts so much that we decided to eat them again tomorrow.

Puter is definitively a recommendation.

Everything was excellent – Food and drinks, service and staff attitude, atmosphere

This place and people who work there saved our evening

We were late (because of our mistake with booking) but we didn’t wait too long – the manager found a table for us in 10-15 minutes
We were really thankful because this was a special evening

I loved the atmosphere – each table decorated with fresh flowers, muffled lights, ceiling chandelier with candles, small lamps on the tables – every detail creates a cosy and comfortable feeling

All dishes were delicious and served beautifully
Served on time, followed with explanations of the manager

Cremant sparkling wine was really good and it’s cool that it is available “by glass”
