Melinda was the best hostess/waiter/cook ever! The food was delicious. She recommended my dinner! Parm crusted halibut, coconut rice and asparagus! Best food I have ever had in Florida!! We were seated and waited on promptly! That’s not easy to do now a days! Food was so delicious I thought I better try peach cobbler! That was amazing also! You HAVE to go here!

What a catch
This was our first time trying out Winter Park Fish Co, and we’re so glad we did. It is such a charming little place. They use driftwood throughout in their decor, and we felt like we were in a seafood place at the beach… so cute. The seafood is fresh, and they display it proudly. And the staff was friendly and eager to recommend their favorite dishes.
There were 5 of us dining, and we ordered several dishes to eat family style, so we could all get a little taste of everything. Our favorites were the Smoked Salmon and Jalapeño Dip, the Fish and Chips, and the Shrimp ‘n’ Grits Our Way.
The salmon dip was smoky and had just the right amount of spice. Salmon can often times be a little too fishy because of the amount of fat in it, but this dip was not fishy at all. Great job!
The fish from the Fish and Chips was cooked perfectly. The breading was great, and it was crispy on the outside, and flaky on the inside. They definitely know how to cook fish.
The most memorable dish we ate was the Shrimp and Grits. It was like heaven in a bowl. The grits were cheesy and cooked to perfection. The Shrimp was not chewy or rubbery, which we loved. And the sauce that brought it all together was spicy and so flavorful. We can’t wait to eat this again.
Oh, and I (Aline) can’t forget to mention their Peach Cobbler. I am allergic to cinnamon and had never tried this dessert before, but I called ahead and informed them of my allergy, and the chef made a cobbler just for me. I loved it, and I just wanted to lick every last drop. Thank you, chef.
Don’t forget to order some of their hush puppies. They are fantastic!
If you’re ever in the area, check them out for some delicious seafood. We definitely recommend this place.

We’ve stopped here a few times over the years, and this is the first since they expanded the dining room. The food is as good as always. The Chowder was excellent and my Shrimp Po Boy was just the right amount of spice. Loved the dip they brought out to start the meal. Nice options for beer and wine , too. Only issue, the parking is not optimal. But find a place and get in here, as it’s totally worth it.

When I travel to the Orlando area I head to the best seafood in town. The Winter Park Fish Company is great! I had the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer “WOW” it was great and I had the Fish and Chips(Sweet Potato Fries) which was very tasty! Loved it!

Food was good. The tuna dip was really delicious; I highly recommend. I got the seafood combo plate. It was tasty but everything was fried. I wish they offered the meal plain because those scallops were huge and well-seasoned, but lost in all that fried batter.

Great spot for fresh fish! It’s definitely rustic decor with limited indoor seating, most of which is on benches. What Winter Fish Co lacks in comfort, it makes up for in great fish flavors! There are sandwich selections as well as full dinners. Tacos, salads and soups. Create your own fish selection choosing preparation method, topping, sides etc. for a custom meal experience. Our fresh fish choices were expertly prepared. Service was good except for the incorrect side being provided. It was eventually remedied. All in all a good bet for fresh seafood in Winter Park.

Just top notch across the board. We’ve never had a bad experience here, the management clearly takes pride in their job. The wait staff are well versed and they actually eat the food here. Can’t forget the cooks that prepare these meals bc they are on point!! Fish is always tender, sides are delicious (even the Brussels sprouts) and the Tacos yum yum!! The dip is heavenly…if you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must!

Such a cool little seafood restaurant. Very quaint and relaxing. But most important, the food is great. I have had fish and chips at many restaurants, this was by far the best. They serve large nuggets of fish that are full of solid white fish and are very easy to eat. And how about their sugared puppies. They take hush puppies to another new place with the sweet coating. The clean bathrooms are a testament to how clean the kitchen is. We will be coming back again.

Nice, attentive staff.
Small small interior. Mostly picnic style tables, although made of wood.
Pros – lots of choices. Authentic, original, food well prepared and served hot. Great flavors. Constantly changing fresh fish menu. Wide array of preparation options and sauces.
Cons – music was terrible – really really bad. 70s soul misty but not the hits. Maybe the clientele? Small bathroom. Kinda cramped interior generally. Not someplace I’d go for a special night – more of a ‘fish camp’ type experience.

Such an amazing experience!! Everything is so good and so fresh!! I’m getting cravings again writing this post lol! Shrimp and fish so good and fresh!!! I wish I took more pictures, but that only gives me more reasons to go back!! This is a must visit spot!! Dinning is inside or outside, but it’s always worth the wait!!!
