A Taste of Trinidad at Wok N Lime!
Wok N Lime is truly a little piece of Trinidad right here in Florida! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The chef adds just the right amount of heat, giving every dish that signature Trini flair — whether it’s the noodles, chow mein, or chicken.

We especially love the Hong Kong chicken with extra spice, along with the chow mein, lo mein, and shrimp wontons — each dish is absolutely delicious. Every visit is an experience for the taste buds, and we find ourselves coming back week after week.

If you’re craving authentic, Trinidad-inspired Chinese cuisine, Wok N Lime is the place to be!

I’m not from Trinidad. I was born and raised in Miami. I’m married to a Trini, so Caribbean food stays in heavy rotation at our house.
I’ve eaten at a lot of Caribbean spots. Trinidadian, Jamaican, Haitian. Franchises and family-owned places.

Wok N Lime sits at the top of them all.
I’ve been for lunch and dinner a handful of times, and the biggest thing is food flavor consistency. The quality never slips. The food hits the same every visit.
You taste the difference in the way the chef cooks. He takes pride in it. He stays disciplined with his spices and technique, and it shows in every bite. The flavors come through clean and bold, without tasting watered down or “Americanized.”

If you dine in, the family presence adds real charm. You feel welcomed, not rushed. If you do takeout, the food still travels well because it’s cooked to order.
And the hot sauce. Made in-house. Fresh. It levels up everything.
We’ve worked our way through almost the whole menu, and nothing has missed. Strong portions. Big flavor. If you want Caribbean food that tastes authentic and stays consistent, order from Wok N Lime, you will not be disappointed.

This is my honest review without compensation or enticements. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment that is new and certainly up and coming.

This Trini Chinese spot is absolutely amazing! The flavors are authentic and perfectly balanced — just like how we remember it back home. The fried rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, the lo mein had that perfect texture, and the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like a true taste of Trinidad. Definitely one of the best Trini Chinese meals I’ve had — can’t wait to come back!

Wok & Lime is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Trinidad Chinese-style food in South Florida! The flavors are bold, perfectly seasoned, and truly capture that signature Trini-Chinese fusion you don’t find just anywhere.

The fried rice is flavorful, the lo mein is perfectly stir-fried, the pepper shrimp hits just right, the Trinidad-style Chinese chicken is packed with rich, savory flavor, and the fried shrimp wontons are crispy, golden, and absolutely addictive. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and well-prepared in generous portions.

What really stands out is how authentic everything tastes. Great food, and great service from the owner and his staff! Highly recommend!

Honestly, food was bland. Ordered family meal which needed more seasoning. The noodles were better tasting than the rice. Wished the shrimp wonton had more seasoning as well. The sauce for wonton was mostly ketchup, I had to make my own. Thought the chicken would have had more sauce. I had high hopes.

They do not abide by their posted hours of operation. Called several times during the week to no answer, not even a message on the phone saying they are closed due to an emergency or something. Would not recommend based solely on the principle.

UPDATE : after my 1 star review they made it right. I bought the family meal and it was well worth it. 3 10″ containers full. The 2nd picture is leftovers after 3 adults ate. The rice was very flavorful as well as the noodles. The chicken was moist and juicy. They provided lots of pepper and soy/duck sauces on the side. This can easily feed 4+ adults. I can honestly say the only thing disappointing about wok n lime is when they are closed so we can’t order lol.

My friend and I went to this restaurant twice. The first time we waited over an hour for our food in an empty restaurant. Meanwhile, customers who walked in after us were served timely. The chicken fried rice was bland. My friend asked me to go with her again, Against my better judgment, I went. I came in and the cashier was on the phone. She actually walked to the back and never acknowledged us until she was ready to take the order. No apologies for the wait. The food came and there was something in my friend’s food. She went to the cashier and let her know and gave them back the food. (I’m not sure if they refunded her) she then came back to sit with us. The cook/owner? Came out stating the item in the food was receipt paper. He said its never happened before and wouldn’t happen again, but he did explain to us how it happened. The cook/owner came back out a 3rd time unprovoked asking for a receipt for the food that had debris in it. My friend said she no longer had it, and probably threw it away. The cook started to get petty and aggressive stating she had to have gotten a receipt and he demanded to see it. (Why not pull your own receipts?) Mind you, all three of us had written off the food and experience and were just talking amongst ourselves about work, so the interruption and the rudeness caught us off guard. At this point my friend had enough and let him know he was unprofessional. He started to escalate and started screaming at her for what reason only him and baby Jesus know.
The service and food were a complete turn off so I threw my food away after 3 or so bites. They won’t be around long with their poor attitudes. Anyway, for amazing food and service try SUSHI TO GO and PORTAL MAYA in the same plaza.

One of the best halal food restaurants, loved the flavors! We ordered pepper steak with rice and lo mein combo, it was a very generous portion and very tender meat. They treated us like family, took really good care of us. Highly recommend!!!
