For the past 20 years we’ve been serving our World-Famous Painkillers, Bushwackers and Big Juicy Burgers. We’re open every day with the best sunset view in Cruz Bay on St. John. Happened on this place while on a cruise. It was the perfect combination of food and beach. The service by Isz was great! We had the Macho Nachos and Coconut Shrimp along with drinks. I would give the food 4.5 stars if it was possible.

Order the Tandoori Chicken add Swiss cheese and bacon (compliments to bartender Emily’s recommendation) – the picture doesn’t do it justice especially since I took it halfway through devouring it! Also, I subbed the homemade tots which were delicious! We sat at the bar, but there are tables on the beach near the water. Great atmosphere!

A fun relaxed vibe with live music some nights. Good place to get a bit tipsy and enjoy the sunset. Food is mostly just bar food but can’t complain about the tuna bites and chicken fingers/french fries/ fried shrimp. Great place to just drink, snack and listen to music

Everything tuna on the menu was great! We had all 3 of the tuna apps and was very happy with the taste. Drinks were good, service was good, sunset views were spectacular. They also have this app that lets you view live footage so we were able to share with friends back home.

We had the pleasure of having Grace as our bartender. She was like a cool breeze effortlessly taking our order and attentive while waiting on so many other patrons at the bar and tables. My wife and I love to sit at a bar for easy talking and great service. I was also a bartender in my early years so we always rate the bartenders where we eat. Grace is an A++ for her service, nice smile, and joie de vivre! Beach Bar is lucky to have her as a bartender.

My wife loves the fish sandwich, once wahoo, twice triggerfish, both times excellent. I like the burgers and painkillers, we have never been dissapoited and have visited many times. You can sit at the bar, at a table on the beach, or at a “bar” that looks out on the Bay )our favorite). This is a simple, wonderful place (more low brow than high brow) with great music, food, and ambiance.

After a full day of travel, our family needed some good food, stiff drink and a gorgeous sunset. The Beach Bar checks ALL the blocks. Located on what has to be the best view of the sunset on the island, we enjoyed everything about our dinner. Parking was very good and nearby, which was provided by “Honk” for a very reasonable price. Our service was awesome, the entire staff was phenomenal. We had chicken tenders with fries for the kiddos, meanwhile mommy knocked by a couple of their signature cocktails “Painkillers.” Which after drinking them, you will feel NO pain at all. Overall a rating of 10/10 would recommend and eat here again and again. If you happen to be in the Virgin Islands, please check out The Beach Bar, you will not regret it. Enjoy!

This place rocks. Great all the way around, including a great view. Great island vibes, too. Check out their live cam. It’s a must do if you visit St. John. Easy walk from the ferry if you visit from St. Thomas. I love this place and can’t wait to get back here again and spend more time.
