1st time at A Walk in The Park Cafe, and was not impressed. The atmosphere was nice, customer painting for sale, and if you want to paint I guess this is your place to come. The waitress acted put out to wait on us, and especially when I asked for my bill. I guess you are supposed to order with the kiosk, but since I had never been there how would I know? Food was mid at best. Asked for over easy eggs, came out hard. The hash browns were frozen squares that tasted like the oil was old. You know that flavor. The pancakes were the best part of my meal, but it’s hard to mess up pancakes. The place has a great concept, but you would of thought it would have been more fresh. I gave it a try, and I know there are better tasting places for breakfast. Hope other patrons have better success than I did!

What an awesome nice Cafe in Firestone Akron. Geared towards mixing the art world with the food world with music. A cafe with a limited menu but that’s all you need. The little music ambience but you can still hear and talk or talk on the phone and they don’t mind at all. Free Wi-Fi seat yourself. All kinds of nice seating. Different seating setting by Windows seating in a little nook in the corner. As you can see from the pictures, there’s all kinds of seating seating for more than one. I had a Firestone burger. Excellent. Would recommend the Firestone Burger. Run-of-the-mill fries but they’re frozen fries, which is fine. The service was excellent. A Very diverse environment treated me very nicely. Respect all the way around. I would recommend all walks of life to visit this little nook in Akron. What a great atmosphere for a small group or just a single person or just a couple people. Not too far from 77. You can order via kiosk. They noticed when I walked in and was looking around I was there for the first time. Told me I could seat myself anywhere. They waited on me my server couldn’t have been any polite or better than any person that I know of. The Firestone Burger is the best burger I’ve had in a long time. They served it the way I wanted it. They have all kinds of blank canvas artwork. You can purchase the stuff very cheaply in paint draw. Do whatever you want artistically while you’re there, which I thought was an awesome idea to combine with the cafe and some food. They also have karaoke nights. Google maps took me exactly to The cafe. It is right across the street from a beautiful Park. I did not get a chance to walk the park but it looked good. So if you have Wi-Fi business to do or just want to make some art. You just want to go in and relax and get on your phone. Your tablet. Your computer do your work with a little bit of music. That’s not too loud. It’s great! I recommend that you check this place out.

This is a bit late, but wanted to leave a review because it is such a great place! It feels and looks larger inside than expected from outside. It has convenient self-ordering or servers to take the order. The quality of food for the price is fantastic.

Not only does the food shine, the whole restaurant is themed seasonally. It is an artsy place — one can paint during the meal— and it feels like artists run the place and take pride in the decorations and ambience. I have gone in several seasons and am always impressed with how it is decorated.

It is kid-friendly but great to go as an adult. In the warmer months there is a nice outdoor area as well.

Coming from a local realtor, Walk in the Park Café is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is peaceful and creative—you can paint while enjoying seriously delicious, made-from-scratch food. It’s the perfect combo of relaxing and fun. Whether you’re looking for a solo escape or a unique spot to hang out with friends, this place delivers. The staff is super friendly too. Definitely one of those places you have to experience at least once—but trust me, you’ll want to come back. I’ll be back for sure

I love this place! The food is really good, I usually just have a breakfast biscuit just egg and bacon with pepper jack cheese. There are definitely more options to try tho. Always fresh and hot and with that I get a large hot latte with hazelnut flavor. There is whole milk, oat milk and I think almond milk available. The prices are very reasonable and eating in is great. The atmosphere is relaxing, and, if you choose to, there is art and craft available to do (for an additional price). The decor is great and changes with the season. There is also outdoor seating available for when it’s warm enough in the day. Service is always friendly. I would recommend this Cafe, great for catching up with a friend or even sitting by yourself enjoying a much needed coffee or one of their other drinks. They also sell some gift items from local small business owners. Bracelets and art in particular

Exemplary. Drinks were awesome, mocha in particular was stellar. Atmosphere is full of character, with paintings by patrons hanging everywhere. Food for breakfast and lunch that won’t leave you hungry, all for a fair price. One of my new favorites.

Okay. So my husband and I (and our friend) all decided we wanted breakfast and coffee this morning.. we live relatively close so we decided to give this place a try.

Holy cow!! Let me just say, the atmosphere was so cute and inviting, you just want to look at everything and take it all in! The staff – amazing!! They are the sweetest people ever and you can tell they take pride in what they do! (I work in food service so I know what it means to love what you do and take pride in it)
And the food/drinks 10/10. Everything was beyond delicious.
I would’ve posted better photos of the food, but we all couldnt help but to dig in and devour it!!

Will for sure be back soon. They deserve all the recognition

While passing through town, I was bold and asked my friend if she’d like to stop here. I read the reviews, and I knew it was the place. I proposed over asiago cheese, breakfast sandwich. I wish I could say the food was the best part of my day, but… you get it. Thank you, A Walk In The Anniversary Cafe. A special shout out to the owner Colby for keeping it smooth. Big love.

Just in the other day for a breakfast bagel and a coffee. Food and bev were decent enough. I really wish that I could do a Gordon Ramsay(without the yelling) makeover on this place. If I were running the show, I’d completely scrap the layout and have a more modular set up so the painting area and decor don’t take up space where more customers could be dining, and only do painting on certain times. Shut down at two and re-open at 5 or 6 and have painting and wine nights. Not a huge fan of the sheetz style screens, I feel like a lot of elderly customers wouldn’t like it.

The amount of plants and decor seem hoarder-y and give me a bit of anxiety. Minimalize them in exchange for comfortable customer seating.

I know it’s expensive, but the hood system ain’t hood systeming. Speaking as a chef who worked at a restaurant that got shut down for just that, it is critical.

The menu could have more signature sandwiches and bevs. Maybe even a rotating menu to keep it interesting. There’s enough proteins, cheeses, condiments and starches to work with, come up with fun names, while also keeping space for a build yr own burger/sandwich/meal and people will go for it

I got food from here a few years back that was really good with huge portions. I know prices have gone up and they have someone different working back there, it’d behoove y’all to get a decently paid chef that could serve stellar and mind-blowing food.

The AI music is a huge turn off. AI is using up a ton of water. Water is Life.

Y’all have been there for a few years and lasted thru COVID so y’all are doing something right, and I’m happy that there’s a funky spot to get a coffee in the neighborhood I grew up in and saw change many times, but it could be so much better.

Owls signify death in a lot of Indigenous cultures. It doesn’t offend me directly, I just always find it funny when people have such an fixation with them.

OMGOODGRAVY!! We stumbled upon this gem!!!! Was very confused at first, but once we settled in, we had a FANTASTIC artistic adventure and meal. In fact, I only got 1 picture of one of our 6 meals because my phone was not out at all as I was painting and eating! AWESOME concept. No tips – they go as donations to local art things.
