Fortunate to find some legit Vietnamese eats in Moncton. This joint features more of a Northern Vietnamese style of pho. Tasty clear and clean broth with great selection of toppings, especially if you choose the special or “Dac Biet” version. Spring rolls were also stuffed and very tasty.

I went to Pho Dan twice and I was very satisfied with the food I had ordered. I tried their special Pho the first time I went there and tried Bun Bo this time. Both were very delicious. They also serve plenty of fresh sprouts with the pho. You can add cilantro, lime or garlic if you want. The owner is friendly and warm. Always smiling and greeting people. I’m so happy to have found a decent Vietnamese restaurant near where I live.

Best pho in town, literally. I’m from Vietnam and I’ve tried quite a bit of Pho places all over Atlantic Canada and Vietnam itself. This is one of the best pho I had so far. For a classic, the Beef Pho was wonderfully authentic. I especially appreciated the sides of fresh pickled garlic and extra sauces, which let me customize it perfectly.

We are so happy to have stumbled upon this Vietnamese restaurant… it’s truly a hidden gem! The authenticity and quality of the food are absolutely top notch.
For appetizers, we had the spring rolls and fried tofu, both of which were fresh and flavorful. For our mains, we ordered the Pho Dan special, Pho Tai Lan, and BBQ chicken with rice. The pho was incredibly tasty rich, aromatic, and comforting. Honestly, everything we ordered was excellent.
It was so good that we came back the very next day for lunch again!
The service made the experience even better. The owner, Victor, is very hands-on, welcoming, and personable, which made us feel right at home. And a nice touch is instead of water, they serve a refreshing pineapple ginseng tea and it’s absolutely delicious.
If you’re looking for a genuine taste of Vietnam, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
