Reviews
However, I’d like to share a couple of concerns from my recent experiences. The last time I dined in, I left a cash tip, but I was not given a receipt to review or sign. Later, I realized that an additional 18% tip had been added to my order, even though I had already tipped in cash.
This time, I called in an order for pickup. I ordered fried chicken and specifically requested the sauce on the side, along with the regular spicy pork BBQ. Unfortunately, the order I received was not prepared as requested.
Overall, the food is great and the staff are kind, but I hope the restaurant can be more careful with order accuracy and billing details in the future.
One big plus is that they’re open late, which makes this a great option if you’re having a late-night craving and don’t want fast food. For that alone, it’s a pretty reliable choice.
That said, the service was just okay. The female server we had came across a bit cold and slightly mean, not very warm or welcoming. That said… I guess that’s kind of a thing with some Korean restaurants, so it wasn’t totally shocking—just don’t expect overly friendly service.
Also worth noting: the location isn’t the safest, as it’s in a rougher part of SF. Parking is street-only, so I’d recommend coming with others and being mindful, especially at night.
Overall, a good late-night Korean food option if you know what to expect and plan accordingly.
Two of us ordered:
takyoyaki $8, not very good, would avoid
dolsot bibimbap $17
pork tofu soup with ramen $18, not much pork
fried chicken $24
soda $2.50
Overall, flavors were good. Wish their tofu soup had more meat.
Staff was friendly.
Street parking only.
Service was also non-existent.
Overall, except for the soup, the experience was not great. Won’t be back.
