So we got the SpongeBob meals x 2 and a whopper jr and 12pc chicken fries….what we received was the Krabby patties cold, the cheese bacon tots cold and old and inedible…no pies…and they were out of the pineapple slush drinks so we got regular ones, we didn’t receive the whopper jr and only an 8 pc chicken fries.
To speak of disappointment is an understatement. $15 for the SpongeBob meals each and they weren’t worth $5…and to pay for and not receive what you ordered was frustrating. My son had to drop me off to get to work so no time to go back to see if they’d correct it.
The lady that took our order had wonderful countenance and disposition. Great customer service skills.

This Burger King at 100 State Rd 60, Lake Wales, FL 33853 truly stood out from the rest! From the moment we stepped in, it was clear the team here takes pride in their work. The manager was an absolute expediting machine—double-checking every order with sharp focus and a commitment to quality assurance that’s rare to see in fast food.
At one point, I overheard her tell a team member, “You know this is not the correct bun for this sandwich, and our customers are very intelligent—they might bring it back. If they do, it’s on you.” Without missing a beat, she turned and said, “Let’s redo this sandwich and ensure we’re following standards.”
That right there says it all.
Our sandwiches were made with precision—well-assembled, fresh, and exactly as ordered. The restaurant itself was spotless, including both the men’s and women’s restrooms. You could feel the difference in how the staff worked together.
Great job to the entire team at this Lake Wales location for delivering a fast food experience that felt anything but average. Keep up the amazing work!

Food was good (not great), onion rings a little under cooked, they weren’t crispy. Service was slow however a crew member did bring out my order while I was waiting behind person at the window. So that added an extra star as I would have only given 2. Can’t rate atmosphere as I went through the drive through.

Drive thru person taking orders wasn’t paying attention at all. When I picked up the food at the window, a girl handed me my bag and as turning around to walk away she mumbled “have a nice day.” I said I was going to check my bag since the drive thru guy wasn’t paying attention. She just hugged and rolled her eyes. Food was decent.

Ordered a whopper in drive thru. I asked if they could make it fresh and they definitely delivered. My sandwich was so fresh and hot I could barely hold it. My toppings were also fresh and crisp. It was also neatly wrapped. Drive thru staff were friendly and courteous at both windows. If only the good could be like this at every fast food restaurant. Great job to this Lake Wales Burger King, afternoon staff. Today’s date is 4.8.24 (Also the day of the eclipse). I hope your boss gives you all praises for today

The food is always fresh and delicious. The only issue I have been running into the last few visits is receiving the wrong items. This has happened at both the Lake Wales and Bartow locations over the last few months. Most issues have been missing bacon on burgers that I paid extra to have it added to or regular cheeseburgers instead of double cheeseburgers. One visit, I had to go back in 3 times after receiving my prepaid order (I always order online and pickup) because they still didn’t make it correctly. During my most recent visit (2 days ago) I ordered a 6 piece chicken nugget kids meal. When I got home about 30 mins later, I realized they gave me cheesy tots instead of nuggets. This time I didn’t check before I left (my fault especially after my most recent experiences) and I would have spent more in gas to go back to have it corrected. I’m hoping that going into the new year, things get better, otherwise we will probably stop frequenting Burger King.

The service here has gone down terribly, and so has the food over the years. The attitude of customer service comes across as if you owe them for doing their job. This is the second time I come within a month and the food is terrible. I noticed it ordering through the app. When I got home my sauce was opened. Not sure if it was tampered with? While eating the whopper I started feeling sick to my stomach. I didn’t eat it entirely. I have been sick all night, with pain in my stomach. I have decided as McDonald’s that Burger King is on my do not eat list. I hate doing this but twice in a month getting sick from it and the service was awful. I wonder if it has something to do because I ordered on line?

Waited at counter for 4-6 minutes in a dead lobby. Eventually 3 different employees walked nearby and none of them even acknowledged I was there. So after the last one, I walked out and went to McDonald’s down the street. In less time than I was in BK, I ordered and got my food there. Unfortunate really, can’t even get someone to take an order here.
