We were pleased to finally try out this cozy Venezuelan restaurant last week. The owner greeted us very nicely and we were able to pick the table that we wanted because we were early arrivals. Parking was available on the street directly in front of 7tyone. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean.
Service was friendly and quick. They seem very organized there and work well together. Even the owner pitched in. He was extraordinarily nice. Our server was Facundo, who did a great job of explaining the menu and checking on us fairly often.
I ordered the Catira Chicken Arepa with Gouda. It was just ok. I like melted cheese in my arepas and this was still on the thick side but maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. My daughter ordered the Palua Beef Arepa and said it was ok. We shared a few other items: Taquenos (very good), Cachipas bites (very good). We had lattes with our meals. We also bought croissants to take home, a Crookie croissant and a Nutella. They were pricey at $7.99 compared to other local cafes but they were delicious.
We will return and try some other dishes in the near future.

Exceeded my expectations! Delicious, fresh arepas and a unique charcoal coffee. Very well priced. Good service. A bit slow and a small spot, so the wait can get long, fyi

This small Venezuelan restaurant exudes loungy vibes, it was super elegance with a homely charm that was really welcoming despite my families embarrassing jokes. I came with my father and sisters to celebrate my late mother’s birthday and we were enchanted by the warm ambiance of the spot service from our waitress, her name was Litzy—whose hospitality rivaled that of high-end establishments in Collins— very hospitality, showing genuine care and as attentiveness as anyone working in the industry should be. She genuinely looks like she enjoys her job too, such great service. The food was nothing short of amazing, coming out of the kitchen with impeccable timing. My sister and I savored the picanha steak, each paired with distinct sides that complemented our main entree. My sister had the hibiscus tea , super refreshing she let me try some. The tequenos we shared were a delightful highlight, some authentic Venezuelan food here, we ordered them little things twice! My father loved his burger, as well as his cappuccino after. I may drop in and get that next time I’m here , which is a guarantee. Everything about this spot was great , blending Venezuelan tradition with refined execution, I’m definitely coming back and not just because I live in the area, but why haven’t I heard of this gem before? I pass by every day and I’m glad so glad we finally sat and enjoyed the scene, the service and the food. Chevere ! peep the videos. I put those extra fries in the tequeno bowl by the way.

A must visit when you are in Miami for authentic Venezuelan! The food was delicious, fresh and HOMEMADE to order. Nothing is pre-made so yes you will have to wait a little longer to get fresh food, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. We had the arepas and empanadas as well. The restaurant was busy but the owner and servers were very kind and attentive. Can’t wait to come back here.
