7th Street Burger in the West Village is an absolute gem for anyone craving a delicious, no-frills burger that hits the spot every single time. A very small branch mainly for takeouts. I dont get how some people say its the best burger spot in NY. There are many other places that serve better ones.
Overall the burger is good. I liked the bun and the sauce. As for the cons, it was very greasy, not much crisps even tho it was smahsed, and one burger wont be enough if you are hungry.
So rather than paying +$20 for 2 burgers I would add $10 more and go to Emily to get their super delicious Emmy double stack burger, which would definitely fill you up.

The best burger and fries in town. Outcompetes Five Guys, Smashburger, Hamburger America, Shakeshack, Culver’s, In & Out, etc. Pictured is a standard double, which comes with cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and house sauce. Best around!

topped by 7th Street Burger and was seriously impressed. The food was simple but perfect — juicy smash burgers, fresh buns, and that classic old-school flavor you just can’t beat. What really stood out though was the service — the person at the register was super nice, welcoming, and had great energy even though the place was busy. This is easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The way the beef melts in your mouth with the cheese and house special sauce is incredibly delicious. The fries were nicely seasoned and had the perfect crisp on the outside. Will definitely be dragging my friends to try this place and NOT to order myself another burger
