I went to Piesanos to get some relief from the every day fast food not really knowing anything about the place.
I ordered the lunch special of 2 pepperoni rolls and a house salad for $9.99. Good deal for sure!
Once I got the food it seemed that the pepperoni rolls were small…. At least smaller than I expected, but once I began eating them I realized that they were actually quite filling and absolutely delicious!! Definitely top quality ingredients from the spicy pepperoni to the rich mozzarella to the flaky roll! And the marinara…. simply awesome!!
Then I turned my attention to the salad.
WOW!! I was definitely pleasantly surprised by not only the size of the salad but the freshness and quality of it. This was made even more pleasurable by the delicious Italian dressing! Nice garlic and oregano flavor coming through the oils and vinegar with just a hint of sweetness! Loved it!
I will definitely be returning with my family to get the full experience of Piesanos dinner and I will recommend them to all my friends!
If you love real stone fired pizza and quality Italian food give Piesanos a try. You won’t be disappointed!

We just moved here from Utah and were worried about getting good pizza. We found better pizza than we got in Utah. We love it. I’m glad we are staying at the hotel next door. We will definitely order again. We also ordered calamari which was cooked perfectly, not rubbery at all, also excellent. We have already recommended you to our family living here. Thanks for a great meal!

The pizza is great. They have a four pepperoni pie. You get free rolls (we ask for them without the Italian dressing poured over them). Meatballs are very good. I recommend the bolognaise sauce on the spaghetti. Someone in our party ordered a calzone and it was huge but it can take 30 minutes or longer if they are busy. They are always busy. Nice, friendly staff.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Tried it for the first time tonight and don’t know how I’ve never heard of them before now. We tried the calzone and it was simply DELICIOUS. The rolls they serve before dinner are perfect, with a sauce that will have you dipping everything in it. We were too full to get dessert but they had a very tempting list. Can’t wait to try one next time. This will be the place I take family and friends when they visit from out of town. You should definitely give it a try at least once. Guarantee you’ll be going back. And don’t get me started on the service. Our server Gene was all you could possibly ask for. Drinks never hit the bottom and he consistently checked on us. Told us the calzones took about thirty minutes but he promised it was worth it. You could just see his confidence in their food. I love it. One of the many reasons we will be back.

One of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. Their crust is awesome, and they use good ingredients on top. Have been getting pizzas from here every other week for almost a year and a half now and have never been disappointed. Their Tiramisu is very good too (although too small for the price). It does get very busy in the evenings, both for dining in and for take out, so sometimes there can be a wait. Their App is good for ordering takeout.

This review has everything to do with the complete lack of significance that was placed on me as a loyal customer up until New Year’s Day 2026. That day at approximately 4:30pm I called to place a takeout order. It should be noted at the time of placing the call for take-out service, I wasn’t certain the restaurant was open for business. My call was answered and immediately placed at 5th in the queue. While being on hold for over 20 minutes, I gradually made my way to #1 in the queue at which time I was disconnected. My wife called back with an identical outcome. So after approximately 35 minutes wasted trying to simply place a take-out order, I went to their website to try it that way. It wasn’t until checkout that I was informed that the restaurant was actually closed for business. That’s right. All of that time wasted and could have easily been avoided by a simple phone recording that they were in fact closed. That day I went back to their website and submitted a complaint. After approximately a week’s time without receiving any form of correspondence from Piesanos, I called the restaurant in Ocala on 200 and spoke with a young lady identified as a manager. She acknowledged the lack of a proper recording to identify the restaurant as being closed on New Year’s Day stating that corporate didn’t want to do anything about it. The manager also stated she would pass on my complaint to her boss without asking for my contact information. So after another week I called the corporate phone number. I had to leave a message. The next day I received a call back. However, it wasn’t from any one of the listed owners. The guy stated that he was a location manager. He couldn’t explain why there wasn’t any follow thru regarding my complaint. He thanked me for bringing the issue from New Year’s Day to their attention and that was the end of it. I will never be back inside any of their 15 restaurant locations.
