Absolutely amazing experience at The Original Pancake House in Edison, NJ! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding and there was no wait time, which made it even better.
The pancakes were hands down the best we’ve ever had—fluffy, fresh, and full of flavor. Since it was our first time, the manager Cathy went above and beyond by sending us three different types of pancakes to try: original, coconut, and pumpkin. Such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture that truly made us feel special.
Our server Ashley was incredible. She gave amazing recommendations, was very attentive, and had the sweetest attitude throughout our visit. Her service made the experience even more enjoyable. I really like that she spoke Spanish because she was able to communicate with my mom
Overall, top-tier food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to friends and family! ✨

This was my second time trying out the original pancake house and I’m glad I gave it another chance. I went on a Saturday around 11am and it was understandably full. The wait time for my partner and I was 25 min which wasn’t too bad at all. Lots of families and big parties, couples, kids etc. the music was bumping which set the vibe and you could see some employees enjoying it. Overall nice atmosphere. Our server was Rich who was super sweet and quick to serve us. I had the pecan waffles and the breakfast tacos and they were warm and delicious and the best part was it came out fairly quick after we ordered. I also had the brown sugar oatmilk latte which was perfect. Overall a really great experience and super satisfied with the food, especially the pancakes that I had been craving. The manager or owner came around and asked my partner if he wanted another bottomless coffee to go which was great, it was nice and hot. Will be going again!

Let me start by saying you must try this place!! The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious!! The menu had a variety of options. The decor was very charming and clean. But for me the best part of my visit was the amazing staff!! My server Alana was awesome. As were a host of other employees. When Kathy, the general manager did her rounds I expressed my great experience due to this being my first time here. And I found her to be genuinely gratful! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!!

Delicious food, exceptional service! Loosen your belts for this dining experience. The oven baked omelettes are a meal all by themsleves. I had silver dollar pancakes which were the perfect sized compliment to the omelette. The pancakes are a separate meal as well. I plan more visits to get thru the menu options.

Although the lot was full, we were seated fairly quickly and service came quickly and was great throughout. We had gingerbread pancakes w bacon and a mini quiche-like dish w broccoli. Everything was presented beautifully. The quiche was good and pancakes were surprisingly nothing to write home about as they were very thin. Maybe I’m being cheap, but $18 for 8 pancakes & a side of homemade whipped cream and $7 for a hot chocolate w a few sprinkles of peppermint seems a little steep. The food just wasn’t on par with the price for us today- $48 for two people to have breakfast.

Very nice food and super friendly staff. I enjoyed the sausage and eggs breakfast, as well as blueberry pancakes. Everything was fresh and hot, and the atmosphere was very cozy (a bit thanks to the christmas decorations and light snow outside). I hope to visit again!

Found this spot on the way to AC. So glad we did. Food was AMAZING. Coffee was really good, make sure to get their strawberry orange juice. Its fresh and yummy. Omelet was huge and amazing. Ham and slam was also huge and reallllly good. And the pancakes are exceptional.
But none of that would matter if we did’t have the awesome Alana and her beautiful smile as our server. She was fantastic.. As well as the rest of the crew. They made hubby blush with a little birthday cheer

If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! This spot is an absolute must-stop—hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The pancakes? Out of this world—fluffy, delicious, and so mouthwatering that pictures don’t even begin to capture how good they are.
