The atmosphere was lively with good music at a reasonable volume.
I would recommend it again without hesitation. Just make sure you have a reservation if it’s Saturday around noon.
We’ll be back soon.
Visited on a Saturday morning around 11:30 AM—no reservation needed, and we got seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise for a weekend brunch spot.
Parking is super easy with plenty of free roadside spots right by the restaurant. The roads in the area are a bit raggedy, but it felt safe and no big hassle.
The place has a medium-sized interior with a few outdoor tables. Seating is fairly close together, but not uncomfortably so—nothing deal-breaking.
Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Food came out prepared to order, nice and hot. The grits were extra creamy and done in that real Southern style—wholesome and comforting. I went with the veggie omelet, and the ingredients were super fresh with big chunks of veggies (not the usual tiny dice), plus the eggs tasted genuinely fresh, not like the liquid egg stuff you sometimes get elsewhere.
The highlight for me was the turkey sausage—super flavorful and packed with taste. My fiancé loved the pork sausage just as much; it was hearty and wholesome.
Ambiance is solid—not basic, but nothing overly fancy either. It’s a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes—great value overall.
Quality food, quick service, and a really good experience all around. We’ll absolutely be stopping by again next time we’re in town.
5/5 – Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Poach Social is a great brunch spot in Atlanta with solid food, relaxed vibes, and exactly what you want to kick off the day. If you’re staying nearby, it’s very walkable, which is a big plus. The parking lot itself is on the smaller side, but there’s plenty of street parking available, so it’s manageable even if you’re driving in.
What really made this place stand out, though, was the owner. Super personable and genuinely welcoming, he took the time to chat with our group and even shared a few great recommendations for other spots to check out for the rest of the day. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and made the experience feel much more local and intentional.
Great food, great energy, and thoughtful service. If you’re looking for a brunch spot that feels both comfortable and memorable, Poach Social is definitely worth a stop.
This may be my new favorite place to eat out with my family! The food, atmosphere, professionalism, and ambience are astounding.
I am always cautious about new places, especially when I have my grandchildren with me (ages 6, 5, and 4). However, the restaurant staff and cuisine are quite accommodating for a family meal. I also appreciated the variety on the menu. It was a huge plus that the owner took the time to say hello and personally ask about our satisfaction. I will be back here very frequently!
