I went to El Sarape Del Valle and it was honestly a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the place felt welcoming and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, casual, and perfect for sitting down and actually enjoying your meal without feeling rushed.

The food is the main reason to come here. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, like real home style Mexican food. The portions were generous and the prices were fair for how much food you get. The salsa had good flavor and heat, and everything came out hot and well prepared. You can tell they’re consistent and care about what they serve.

The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our server checked in on us, made sure we had what we needed, and kept everything moving smoothly. Even when it was busy, the staff stayed on top of things and kept a good attitude.

The restaurant was clean and well maintained, which always matters to me. It’s a great spot for family dinners, casual lunches, or even just grabbing food with friends. Overall, El Sarape Del Valle is a place I’d definitely come back to. Good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for solid Mexican food in El Paso, this spot is worth checking out

A very decent place to have what seems to be a typical Mexican dish. Place is not too big or too small, it was however not a quiet environment. Not exactly bad, it is just hard to have to speak a bit louder to communicate clearly with your partner. A gentleman was walking around, playing the guitar, not sure if it is part of the restaurant climate or a person just doing it for money. The food was well made. The coffee was good as well. Overall, not a bad first experience.

I came in right as they opened. So there was no one inside. No lines and they’re should not be a long wait time for the food. I asked for coffee and menudo. I asked for that and for the menudo to not have any meat. Just the hominyis the red sauce with bread is really it. What do I get. Cold, meat filled cold bread warm coffee. Then 20 minutes later the waitress come around to ask if everything was good. I told them what the issues are. I was told they took all the meat out that they could. Entry spoon had large pieces of meat. This is not only the bad part of the visor. They didn’t offer to reheat or even remove the food which was not eaten or touch at all. They said it is still going to be charged. So I got warm coffee cold menudo for $12. Don’t eat here!

Everytime I go there for huevos rancheros. Either the eggs are too runny (whites are not cooked) or the beans are too salty… or like today, now the hash browns are burn beyond recognition AND the beans are super salty. It must be me they dont like or the cook is distracted by that hostess/cashier – for you to mess up 3 – 4 times on a simple order.

I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Bomb Mexican Plate, bomb food period. Too many awesome choices. My uncle and I recommended this restaurant. More awesome memories with my Uncle and Aunt. Great food and the hospitality is grade A. This is a personal favorite. Always good food and great value $$$. Delicious, this time on a Sunday Afternoon. Great waitress. Great hospitality. Awesome food.

Great place to eat. The food is good. Nice atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable for today’s inflation. The salsa was spicey but not too spicy. The plates have plenty of food.

Nice, clean, traditional Mexican restaurant. We went for dinner, somewhat lonesome, (but I prefer it that way), great lunch and dinner prices. Nice healthy portions, does the trick for fulfilling those that “gortitas” craving.
