Los Compadres has been family owned since its beginnings in 2017. Our family is steeped in restaurant tradition since the 1980’s. The traditional food that we serve today is inspired by the Mexican food that was lovingly prepared in the home throughout childhood. Los Compadres serves classic Mexican dishes along side new and interesting flavors. We offer warm and inviting service coupled with an eclectic atmosphere. While Mexican food may be our first priority, our margaritas and mixed drinks are distinctive, enticing, and well balanced. Buen Provecho!

I’ve been here several times for lunch with my coworkers. It’s good but not great. Their chips and salsa is good, their chips are fresh crispy, and warm, and the salsa is a purée restaurant style, which I kinda do like, but it is not spicy.
The first time I was there, I think I just had a beef and bean burrito, the second time I was there I had shrimp tacos, and this last time I was there I had a supreme enchilada platter. Of the three meals the enchiladas Supremas was definitely the best.

This was our first visit, having been recommended by a friend. No fault with food ,service or atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for what you received. My ACP was perfect and I just spiced it up a little with salsa. My husband ordered a steak fajita which came with rice and beans. He commented on how he enjoyed the grilled flavor of meat.
Plenty of choices on the menu, but I would love to see plantains on the menu!

Nice Mexican joint! Workers were friendly, and the food was really quick, fresh, and tasty. We sat outside, and it was a rainy day, great atmosphere. Will stop in again!

Visited on evening of September 27. Our food initially was delivered to the wrong table before it finally came to us. As a result, the food was barely warm. After our food was brought to us, the waitress never returned to offer refills or even check. We mentioned the lack of service when we checked out. The person checking us out offered the excuse that the waitress was busy “consumed” by another table. The restaurant was not busy at all. I hate to leave negative reviews, but this one was well deserved. In the past, the food and service have been good.

Ordered lunch fajitas and taco salad. The fajitas were perfect for a lunch portion and had a great ratio n of meat and veggies. The taco salad wasn’t great. The bowl was super oily and the bottom was soggy. The salad had an overwhelming amount of meat and barely and salad. The atmosphere is a little loud just based on the volume of the music. The service was great. Would come back.

I was fantastic!! I love their California Burritos. But can never finish it, so I bring the rest home. The service is excellent too!! Highly recommend it.

The waiter was really busy talking on his phone and playing video games on his phone. He did not do a very good job. When my food come out the cheese was missing on my steak and cheese. So he had to be located to put the cheese on. The food just was okay. I took a picture of him and my plate so you could see and judge for yourself.
Update: the restaurant read this review and asked me to call. I have tried twice. There was no answer and the mail box is full. I stand by my 1 star do not go. Go to Ole guacamole in Johnson City TN, Amigos in Johnson City TN or Elizabethton TN, Dos Amigos in Boone NC. I have gotten great food at these places. Yes I like Mexican food LOL
