Tijuana’s Bar & Grill — Great stop before the trip to Jersey
This was our last stop before the trip to Jersey, and Tijuana’s Bar & Grill in Puerto Rico turned out to be a great choice. The restaurant is right along the bay, which made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, everything tasted fresh and well prepared.
The mojito was one of the best I’ve had here—balanced, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The vibes were great: laid-back, chill, and perfect for unwinding before heading out. The music was mostly in Spanish, which I didn’t fully understand, but the beat had an 80s feel that was actually very enjoyable.
It was pretty quiet when we visited, probably because no cruise ships had docked yet, which made the experience even better. Calm, relaxed, and unhurried—just a perfect place to eat, enjoy a drink, and unwind by the water.
Definitely worth stopping by if you want good food, great drinks, and a peaceful bay-side atmosphere.

such an amazing place. beautiful views right on the water. my mother and i both agree they have the best tacos and margaritas we’ve ever had. definitely come here if you get a chance

The bill had already 18% service charge and on top of it the waiter wanted an tip? I as not informed at all about it until I checked the printed receipt. It’s a waste of time to get it sorted.
Seems it’s a practice here and very few people even care to Check?

Great Vegetarian options, located in old San Juan, right next to the ferry terminal. Has good views of the bay. We ordered Veggie Fajitas w/ corn tortillas and veggie burrito. The fajita came with 4 tortillas, rice, beans, pico de Gallo & avacado. Tasted great and fresh. I highly recommend this place.

This place had a great view of the water. The food quality and quantity was not on par with the prices. The food was just OK. For reference the picture is of the $24 fajitas. The music inside was so loud that you struggled to have a conversation across the table. There are no free refills on drinks. The server didn’t let us know this so it was a big surprise when the bill came. He was not even apologetic after I brought it to his attention. We would not come back to this place again.

Waitress tacked on extra charges that were not listed on the menu. I ordered the beef tacos which are listed as $10. The waitress charged $11. When confronted the waitress went over to another table, looked at the menu and came back and said it’s extra for beef and would not remove the extra charge even though the menu is listed as $10. $1 more does not seem like too big of a deal but it is enough of a big deal for me to warn others and to never go back their again.
