We are staying at the Hampton Inn that the restaurant is connected to, and it was so convenient to have this restaurant here and not have to drive in holiday beach traffic after checking in. As previous reviewers mentioned, we did seem to wait a while for our food and drinks, but it was July 4th. I got a sense that the kitchen might be understaffed or maybe just overwhelmed that day. We were not in a hurry. We enjoyed the view of the boardwalk and the beach. I appreciated that there were mocktails on the menu; I had the Uber lemonade, which was really good (and purple!). My husband got the lemon pepper wings, which he said tasted good but were too salty. I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad. My grilled chicken was more like blackened chicken and it was not tossed in buffalo sauce, but I actually liked it better this way! It went great with the Bleu cheese crumbles and the Bleu cheese dressing was chunky and not runny. The vegetables were fresh. The whole thing just hit the spot. And oh my gosh, they have Nightingale gourmet ice cream sandwiches from Richmond! We each got one. So delicious! Our server Caitlin was attentive, very sweet and efficient. We’re staying here in the hotel for a few days, so we may go back.

Came in late Saturday night and ordered a pizza to go. It took nearly 35-40 mins for a basic pie. What became obvious to me at some point was that they simply didn’t submit the order and had to backtrack. I wasn’t offered a drink as a courtesy for my trouble or even an I’m sorry. When the pizza did come they didn’t even have plates for my to go order. Worse of all, by the time I got back to my hotel the pizza was lukewarm.
As for the pizza, it was fine. Not incredible but fairly good.

Order a classic Chicho’s pepperoni. Crust around the edges was crispy but the crust center was too soft and doughy. The place was empty when I arrived to order a pie to go. Staff were 5/10 as far as attitude and a bit stand off’ish. Guy behind the bar didn’t ask if I’d like a drink or a glass of water while I waited for my carry out order.

First off we were here off season so I understand a possibility of understaffing. Pizza tasted decent. The salad was wilted and the avocado browning. The fish and chips tasted like it was refried and the oil was old. Not very attentive staff. Our waiter mixed up our checks and the check she charged us for was more than the original minus a tip. She then tried to confusingly explain why she messed up and told us she forgot to add the tip to the bill(which was higher), and to tip on the already higher amount. I didn’t leave the tip nor did I try to escalate anything. First off I don’t like mandatory tips, it should be up to the customer to make a choice based on service. This type of tipping culture leads to lacking servers because they know they’re getting a tip anyways. I will never return to this place because of the service and the mandatory tip added to bill.

I am a bit set back. I went in person to order and take out our food. When I went to pay, I noticed a tip charge. I questioned it and was told it is mandatory and the system was upgraded, and they are stressing them out. All of this nonsense. I am on vacation, so I refuse to have someone upset me. I never had a tip included on a takeout order. She rambled so much that it made her look guilty for adding that on her own free will. Guaranteed I will not purchase anything from this location.

We had an outstanding waitress Katie who was sweet and kind. She really helped my husband choose a hoppy happy beer from their vast collection. Then Theresa the cook made tuna bites that melted in your mouth. The seasonings were just enough. I thought I was having a steak and not fish. The atmosphere too was really laid back with great popular music playing throughout the restaurant. Thank you for making our 44th anniversary this week special.

Drink service was good, food taste/quality was fair, and the food service was terrible.
Ordered 20 wings, 3 orders of fries, fried shrimp x1, lumpia x1, loaded nachos x1, and 1 kid’s corn dog with fries. Placed order (in restaurant) at 7:15. Food finally came to the table at 8:30! An hour and 15 minutes for standard bar food?!?!
When the food arrived, the nachos were stale, the fries were cold, and the lumpia was greasy. I would say this was a bad night, but I had a similar experience the last time I visited. After all of this, they add in a 18% tip to the bill. 🙁

Nice. Never been to Chichos before. Hungry, nearby, and they had parking.
Ordered the “Cho’zone”, their customize your own calzone product. Ordered pepperoni and sausage to go with the ricotta and mozzarella.
Nice product. Asked for the hot and spicy marinara. The ‘Zone had a good size. Hot and spicy marinara was indeed hot and spicy, but also thick (Nice change of pace).
Bartenders were a bit slow in the greeting but friendly enough. I mentioned that I was just there to eat, and that’s all they tended to. Didn’t even ask if I’d like a glass of water.
The tab had an 18% tip built-in to the total. I usually tip 30%, so this saved me some money.

Chicho’s is MORE than pizza. Our visit did not disappoint. The menu variety, food, service, location, view, and prices were all phenomenal. Fallon is REMARKABLE!! There are tv’s at the bar which has great drinks along with stunning views of the ocean while you dine.
