This place was clean, attentive,relaxed vibes, and the food was beyond good. Prices are good too. The amount of food they give per serving outweighs the price. And the food quality is very good. The lomo was tasteful, tender, cleaned well and huge portion. The seafood platter was delicious. They said it was for 2 people but I think it feeds 4. Great experience !

I wanted to try something new and came to El Rincon.
We shared the encebollada fish soup to start. It was delicious and huge. By the time my main course came I was very full. I ordered some delicious rice with meats and shrimp (chaulafan) and my partner had the badeja (tray) with different meats, rice and beans.
The waiter was lovely and taught us about the traditional dishes.

First time trying here my thoughts the food is well cooked and yes a little pricey for the portion compared to other Ecuadorian restaurants that I have visited. Today is a day to Mother’s Day which they decorated nicely for occasion the ambiance is comfortable and family oriented. I would recommend if your nearby in Newark iron bound section

First of all, the speaker at the entrance is extremely loud. No one was at the entrance to guide the customer to a table or available to answer any questions. We asked one of the waitresses if there were any tables available and they said yes, the second floor had some and we had to wait. After a long wait, no one came to get us so we asked another waitress if we could go upstairs and she said that there’s no tables available and that we could wait “if you wanted to”. This was extremely disrespectful. If they are going to lie, then they should at least agree on the lie. Other groups went right in greeting the waitresses like family or friends and sat down. Mind you this was all happening as a loud speaker was playing music over us.

This a good spot for Ecudorian food specifically if you not from Ecuador I recommend this place. The only thing that they played too loud music you can’t barely order the food when the waitress is taking the order and in general the music is too laud I left with my friends with ours ears hurting.

The waitress with the blonde hair kept rushing me and my boyfriend and was very intense and acting weird toward us. She didn’t even serve us after and it felt like tension between us. I stared at her as she rushed for our order and her vibe completely changed. When she saw us get our food, she looked twice at our food? I wasn’t sure if she did anything to our food since she kept staring. It was horrible service and she has no waitress etiquette at all. We would never return due to her poor attitude and service. Get a better waitress
