Found this place on accident and it was amazing. So many different food options especially for dietary restrictions which was great. Watching the chefs make the omelettes was like watching an artist at work. The server was so nice and we sat and the counter so we got to see all the action. It was pretty busy which is always a good sign for good food.

First time visiting Georgie’s. It was a Sunday morning. The hostess and waitress were kind and welcoming. They are efficient in cleaning tables and getting folks in. For drinks we had the fresh orange juice and coffees. We ordered buckwheat pancakes, hand cut fries, Georgie’s omelette with home fries, and a veggie omelette with fresh fruit. The juice was delicious, and the coffee was good. Omelettes were great as well. The buckwheat pancakes were also good, tad more greasy than I think necessary but it’s nice that there is a vegan pancake option. Similarly with the fries, you bit into it and just tasted oil, as of the oil was not hot or they were sitting in the oil too long, the fruit was not fresh with some of the fruit brown in appearance. Overall good quick bite, but I don’t think it’s somewhere I will be a regular.

Visiting CT once again we always pass by this diner. Sometimes opened sometimes not. Happened to be open as we were passing so we said let’s pop in.
As we entered was greeted and showed to our seats. Classic diner interior with the booth seats. Love them. We decided on the taco as the appetizer. It was delicious. I am going to make that my meal if I ever go back.
I also ordered a vanilla milk shake and fries which was good in my opinion.

First time here, I really enjoyed it. I had the hash Benedict, it was good, I would get it again. We shared the french toast & I tried the grits. The grits were delicious! I had an espresso, followed by a mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff was friendly. I recommend visiting!

The decaf coffee was fresh and hot.my home fries were well done & crispy just like I asked.My daughter had fresh squeezed grapefruit juice sland I had in house made english muffins w their homemade strawberry jam.very good. I ordered the Uber eats and I ordered Scrambled eggs, it contained some cheese and meat inside of it like it was cross cooked with somebody else’s order. I am allergic to cheese and do not eat meat. Wont be back with something that could have ended with me going to the hospital.

I had an amazing breakfast here with my family. We ordered Eggs Benedict, fresh squeezed orange juice, a cappuccino, and three omelettes with rye bread, fresh fruit, sweet potato fries, and home fries. We also had an eclair and a plant-based chocolate tart for dessert. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. They brought our toddler son crayons and paper for coloring. The menu was impressive, with many interesting dishes and healthy options. We were pleasantly surprised by their health consciousness and innovative approach.

Out of all the Diners I’ve been to in Connecticut, Georgie’s has the most classic feel. It’s beautiful inside and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the grits. One of the worst things you can put in your body but absolutely worth it.

That said, I was a bit surprised by the price. A bacon, egg and cheese on white toast, home fries, a small bowl of fruit, and a soda came to almost $30. I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, but for the portion sizes, it did feel on the expensive side.
Still, the quality and service were solid — just be prepared for higher-than-expected prices for a simple breakfast.
