You are greeted with a friendly smile and welcome as you walk in the door. The menu is packed full of delicious choices. I ordered the burger and fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend 10 out of 10!

We were traveling from Ohio back to our home in Louisiana and wanted to eat lunch at a local diner and I found Rick’s Diner on Google. The food was really good. My husband had the Nasty Burger and I had the Philly Steak. Mr. Rick and Mrs. Geraldine were the sweetest and provided the best service. They both showed a passion for their diner and their community. I highly recommend Rick’s Diner. We will stop by again when traveling this way.
Also, two other positive impressions were when two young adults came in separately and showing respect addressed the patrons and Mrs. Geraldine and said yes ma’am to her and while the diner may be older, both the diner and restroom were very clean and tastefully decorated for the Fall. We felt very welcomed.

Get off the highway and drive the three miles here. Totally worth it in enthusiasm and service alone. Plus cool small diner with great burgers. Not just a burger joint though. Do yourself a favor and leave Wendy’s and McDonald’s to the uninitiated.

The food was good. I got a Big Rick’s burger and it was huge. Didn’t know it would be that big. The only thing, I asked for no mayo and the top bun had mayo on it. Luckily, the tomato was on the bun keeping the mayo from touching anything else. I took off the top bun and and ate the rest of the burger.
