The way this place has more than 2 stars on here is beyond me. Apart from the mid service, the food is below mid. This place takes the cake for the worst aguachiles in LA, not an exaggeration, order them and you will see what I mean, cooked shrimp splashed with lemon water with a crumb of cucumber and onion and soggy tostadas… And for the burritos and sopes, you’ll find better at Taco Bell, I wish I was kidding but no flavor at all, extremely bland. Ordered on their website and when I got there the staff hadn’t even accepted it, just had it sitting on the screen with only 2 other customers in the establishment. Would not recommend even if they had a free food day.

Tacos Desvelados is a HIDDEN GEM in Glendale!
I stopped by one night and was blown away by how incredibly DELICIOUS everything was.
FOOD/DRINKS: The tacos are packed with flavor, the meat is tender and juicy, the tortillas taste fresh, and the salsas add the perfect amount of heat without taking over the whole bite. They have an assortment of beers & wines to choose from. We ordered their michelada and OMG! Not only did it hit the spot, it was MASSIVE!
CUSTOMER SERVICE/VIBE: Our host, Maria, was the ABSOLUTE BEST! She was super friendly and surprisingly fast even though there was a steady crowd. She took care of us all evening, checking in to make sure everything was to our liking and to see if we needed anything else. Customer service was 1000/10! It has that classic late-night taco spot vibe, but cleaner and way more organized than most places that stay open this late. Prices are great, portions are solid, and everything tasted freshly made!
If you’re in the Glendale area and craving authentic Mexican food, Tacos Desvelados is 100% worth the stop. I will DEFINITELY be going back to try more items off their menu!

Maria was AMAZING at making us feel welcome for our first time here! The tortillas were delicious and clearly handmade (in the best way!) and the atmosphere was so warm and friendly! The margarita was gone so quickly- it was so good! Will definitely be back soon. Totally recommend!!!!! (Also forgot to snap a pic before it was all gone so enjoy)!

Food is really heavy though. I still struggle with digestion :))))
Tacos cost more than average, but are bigger.

What a fun find! My husband and I were walking by a couple nights ago, less than an hour before closing time, and we had a sudden hankering for a marg. We decided to stop in and let me tell you, this is not one of those places where they try to rush you out the door when they’re getting close to the end of the night. Our server was SO friendly and welcoming. We decided to get food as well as drinks, and she made fantastic recommendations for vegetarian alterations to the menu. The tortilla on my burrito was SO fresh and delicious; everything was obviously homemade and served with love. We loved the vibes, the substantial portions, and the ambiance sitting outside on lovely Kenneth Rd. We can’t wait to come back!

First time at this place and hope to go back soon. Tacos were delicious, they were so big and filling. Strawberry slushy was delicious and fresh. There was parking behind the building. The only downside is the wait, you spent at least 2 hours when going to eat there. There is a long line to order and it takes about 45 minutes to get your food once you order. They seemed to be understaffed. The server was very nice and friendly.
