First off, I’d like to state that this rating is in comparison to other Mom & Pop establishments and not Michelin star places. That’d be unfair to both parties involved.
With that said, I really enjoyed myself here. The staff were very attentive and expeditious! I received my order probably about 5 minutes after I ordered. Granted it was earlier in the day and not many patrons but I still believe they deserve the recognition for it. There were plenty of seating available even for a large party if you have one. The establishment was clean on the outside and inside. In addition, the bathroom was really clean and tidy as well.
I ordered Sashimi that came with 6 other rolls and gyoza shrimp. The shrimp were so hot I actually had to let them sit a while before eating, which is great for me compared to cold or lukewarm. The Sashimi and sushi were extremely fresh! You can see a pick of the chef area where they prepared it. The food was plated exceptionally well and was a pleasantly unexpected surprise.
This was a great experience!!! And the efficiency of the staff allowed me to eat my lunch and get back to work on time. I highly recommend it and would visit again.

Service at this sushi restaurant is extremely poor. It was not busy, yet I still sat at the sushi bar for over 15 minutes! Nobody bothered to take my order despite 2 people telling me they would “find my server,” a server never materialized! I spoke with management and it was to no avail. The “owner” made excuses, and never apologized for the poor service I experienced at his restaurant. In short, he carelessly took my YEARS of loyal patronage for granted. This restaurant use to be the glory of Austell, for sushi. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case and their “fall from grace,” is quite noticeable! Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere. That is certainly what I plan to do. There are too many great options for sushi in the area, to be treated poorly and receive deplorable service! Take your money and patronage where both will be appreciated!

Pretty busy night. But they are always busy at this location .
Ordered fry California sushi roll and vegetable fried rice and veggie tempura .
Our waitress was very quick to approach our table and take our order, however after our food arrived about 20 minutes later, which was great. However our waitress never return the entire time we were eating. She did not come back to ask us if we needed refills on our drinks, she did not come back and ask if everything was okay. Now I know that they are busy however it would have been nice to get some refreshed lemonade. The other party had a glass of the sweet red wine which was delicious from what I’m told. We express to the waitress at the end will be looked for her to get our check that we would prefer her to have come back a bit more frequent and to also check on us because the second California sushi roll was not correct. However we paid for it anyway because she did not return to our table in time.
Normally I do have a pretty decent experience here. Maybe the waitress was new I’m not sure and there was slight English barrier language barrier as well. She gave me my number she said you are her number she said you always call the shop to schedule with her and she said you need to have her number

The food was ok. Have had better. The amount I spent for three people. I would have expected better. But it want all bad. The chef we had was a good guy and entertaining. I would recommend for anymore to try for themselves.

The place is cool, but I dont think that tables should be directly across from the kitchen where you can see staff standing around talking, with half of a curtain.This is definitely not a good atmosphere to look at. The hibachi was good, but they do not give enough eggs mixed in with the fried rice, as it was stretched out and was very minimal. The food was good but could’ve used a little more seasoning, especially on the beef and rice. Overall, I would still recommend and go back.

Calamari was frozen…fried too hard. Jalapeño poppers had a whole block of cream cheese and little crab meat. Shrimp gyoza had no shrimp….it’s shrimp flavored. Sushi was just a no!!!

Tried take out sushi. Love the insulated take out bag! Spring rolls were flavorful and crispy. With two sushi rolls there should have been more wasabi. I think shrimp rolls would have been better in the restaurant as they would be warmer.

Miyako is our spot! I’ve lived in the area for over 8 years and this is the best hibachi around. We visit for birthdays, random occasions, and some holidays. The food has been amazing every single time. They continue to upgrade the menu and have added some delicious drinks.

Everything here deserves a 5 star rating! Great food, excellent services from the hostess to the table staff and chef. Super engaging with kids tonight, and accommodating of parents as well. Couldn’t believe the toys for the kids. They were awesome!
