Before I dive into the details, let me clarify something:
The hashtag you see at the top of this post is part of a new practice I’m starting in my reviews. It’s a clear signal that I came to this place and had a good time, but I might not come back as it might not be something me and my family like or a thousand other reasons. This hashtag is not about the quality of the food, the quality of service, or other subjective issues. It’s reserved strictly for cases where I might have experience that I might only like to keep once.
Let’s get to the review now:
I heard about this restaurant from friends that they have Mediterranean buffet served on table and also found same on my google search. So me and my other two friends thought to give it a try.
The price was $46 per person, which was on higher end, considering the items will be served with intervals and we will not be getting full plate every time so there will be wait involved.
Anyways we ordered for 3 and they first filled our table with many salads, starters and dips etc. all of those were good, but when they started serving food the chef was coming with bbq in his hand and was giving fresh on every table, which might sound a interesting concept when listening but it doesn’t work well and you lose your appetite in waiting game.
Also among all the meats we got, only 1 steak was upto par otherwise everything was below par.
IMHO the food quantity and flavor was not worth that price, you can get way more and better food for same price at different places.
Overall, the location and ambiance is good but food and service is below par for me so I won’t be coming back as it was only 1 time experience.
Pros:
====
Good Location
Good ambience
Well trained staff
Cons:
====
Slow servide
Overall business model is not customer oriented
Overpriced

They started us off with a bunch of different appetizers and then started bringing out different cuts of meat for us.
My favorite meats were the lamb chops, sirloin and the kofta.
The taboule was made to perfection with the correct amount of lemon and salt.
As an Arab, I haven’t had food this good in a long time. I definitely recommend this spot for more of an authentic flavor.
We had dinner at this Mediterranean restaurant and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and very welcoming. The food was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. They offer a fixed-price menu, so you pay one price and can eat as much as you like, which is a great value. Everything we tried was fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine!
There’s a review that says it’s like eating in someone else’s home and I couldn’t agree more. You really do feel like you’ve been invited into someone’s home with the level of attention and conversation the host provides.
The food here is just incredibly flavorful! I mean everything I ate here was a hit and I couldn’t believe how good it all was! They start you off with a palette cleanser (the lemon mint juice) number of sides and salads before bringing out a range of protein made on the spot so it’s fresh and hot. From the chicken schnitzel to the lamb to the falafel and chicken shawarma everything was done and seasoned incredibly well.
You have to try the lemon mint drink! It’s so so good refreshing and sweet!
I did try the baklava and it was a little disappointing but not enough to overshadow my great experience.
Looking forward to coming back.
We ordered a vegan plate with falafel, shrimp kebab and lamb and beef shawarma. All meat plates came with rice, pita, hummus and a salad (supposed to be tabbouleh but was really a Mexican salad with jalapeño)
The shrimp was like a cheap food court Cajun version (with Cajun seasoning), the falafel was extremely dry and the beef was like the a cheap fajita beef from a gas station Mexican restaurant. The rice was just Mexican rice and the salads and hummus were not good at all.
In short if you want Mexican food go to a Mexican restaurant because in Mashawi they do not serve Mediterranean food!
