I have been to a few steak houses in town. This is by far the worst I’ve experienced as far as quality of the food. I’ve never had to ask for a whole new steak before. Sometimes I’ll have them cook it a little more for me but thats a simple request.. This steak was just entirely gristle/& fat. I got a 16oz chunk of rubber. It was hard to cut, and it looked like it was made of rubber. There was hardly any meat on it at all. For a $40 plate, I expected something different than a slab of rubber being served to me. I was out celebrating my 10 year wedding anniversary. And was pretty upset that the food was the way it was for a popular steakhouse on such a special night. The bill was not cheap! And we received no discounts on a single thing due to the situation. Our waitress was great and very kind about the situation. She also made some really great margaritas for me! She truly was fantastic and had a great attitude about it all. I don’t really think she had time to be the bartender plus wait on 3-4 tables though. It took her over 25 minutes to check on us and how it was going before I could let her know mine was just no good.. and then it took another 20 minutes to receive new food. They only offered to re-make the food, or go without and just take it off the bill. So I accepted the offer to remake it but it took a very long time. The manager brought me it, did not apologize for any of it, and then asked me to try it right then and there to let them know.. He just made me feel nervous, or like I was a problem table! I swear, I didn’t even receive the same type of steak as the first time around. It was completely different in the way it looked, the texture, the shape, everything! Still fatty, but not nearly as bad as the first time around.. I just got a to-go bowl and paid and left. I just almost spent 2 hours there and didn’t really want to spend much more time after everything. Typically we would go someone a little more fancier for such an occasion. But this was the resteraunt we spent our one year wedding anniversary at, so we decided since we made it to 10, we’d come back as like a special thing because we usually just eat at home. Its unfortunate it was no good this time.

It was a nice place overall. We had a dip, I don’t quite remember the name of it, but it was our starter. After the dip, our food took a bit long to come, like over 30 minutes, but it was still really nice nonetheless. I got medium rare 12 oz New York Strip Steak, with Mashed Potatoes and broccoli. Bacon and sour cream added a lot more flavor to the mashed potatoes, and the medium rare steak needed more pepper, but was good overall. We had Cheesecake as dessert, and they have really good cheesecake. Would come again, just a little pricey in a few aspects.

Amanda at the bar was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It really made for a great evening. We’ll definitely be back!
She always remembers our cocktail order even though we only come in maybe once a month. We love her!

I was there till almost 630 last night with my family celebrating my mom’s birthday. This was the worst service I’ve ever had in my entire life And I should’ve gone to Texas roadhouse Gotten better and better food

They always put me at the table right next to the bathrooms so that’s not the best, services excellent here and the people are very nice, the food is pretty good although my steak good but had some gristle. The jumbo shrimp cocktail still had the poop line in the shrimp which was gross and had some green algae looking stuff on the tails but after I clean them up a little bit they were good and the cocktail sauce was amazing. The baked potato was very dry and way overdone. The creme brulee I had for dessert was very good with a nice ripe strawberry on top, and the whiskey sours mermaid perfectly which I enjoyed them very much. All in all for $60 I should have received a better quality meal but I still enjoy coming here and will continue to come back.

Food is very very good, had the Camp Fire (which we have had several times before) but our server Marly made our dining experience the best. Wonderful smile and professionalism with a perfect sense of humor. And as we all know it is the front line staff that make a business and Marly does a great job at doing that.

Black Angus was one of our favorite restaurants in Spokane, however since the great service with Marly now our main favorite. Great job well done (as my Mom used to say). Wonderful food and staff, thank you. And now you know who deserves a raise.

We came in to have what we had hoped was going to be a great meal. We ordered the campfire feast for two. We upgraded the appetizer to the wagon wheel ( which we paid extra for), this came out of the kitchen cold and greasy. Our server was the bartender. She was running the restaurant by herself. However that was no reason for the service and cold food. We upgraded our steaks to Ribeyes (extra cost) which were served salty, overcooked and cold. When then server finally came back it was to ask us what we wanted for dessert. Mind you she forgot to even bring our dinner salads to us prior to our main course. When she asked us about dessert and handed me the check, I mentioned that we didn’t get our salads. This was the worst experience at this Black Angus that we have ever had! I attached the receipt for you to see. I wasted my Groupon, my money and time on a terrible meal. As well as my 50.00 gift card that I had! Update I sent an email per the owners request today as explained in his response.

The dining experience here was incredible! The drinks were strong and plentiful. The wait staff were very attentive, kind and happy. The food was delicious and well portioned. I recommend the campfire feast for two and this place is perfect for date nights.

I chose to go to Black Angus instead of my usual Texas Roadhouse. I thought they might be better and thought it might be a step up than Texas Roadhouse. I was very wrong. After waiting about Twenty minutes to be seated. Which is not out of the norm. We were brought to our table. It was about ten minutes after we were seated before a waitress came over and asked what we would like to drink. Another ten minutes went by before she came back with our drinks. We placed our order when she came back with our drinks. We order the campfire for two. We got our appetizer which was the fries zucchini about 15 minutes later. Then we were served our salad a their house bread about 5 minutes later. After that we waited 35 minutes for the main entree which we both had order the sirloin steak with vegetables. During that 35 minute wait no one had approached our table or seen if we were ok on drinks or anything else. When we finally got our steaks they were not cooked the way we asked. My girl dealt with what she got I sent mine back to be cooked more. The steaks were bland very tough and had a lot of fat. A steak sauce was absolutely necessary to even eat the steaks. The waiter asked if we needed anything. And every time it was a 5-10 minute wait. We had to constantly flag a waitress down just to get our dessert and our check and it still took awhile. The service was horrible the food was not quality for the price. Don’t waste your money. Texas Roadhouse is cheaper and far better with service and food.

Santana is the best server I have ever had! The food is always on point. Forgot to use our cow cash so we had to come back the next day. Had the best french dip sandwich. Hands down, the best around. And the house made chips, WHAT! So good!
