First of all, it was very clean. Easy menu to pick from. Quick service. Not sire what I expect to see, but it was all very good. We ate outside. My daughter tells me that it gets super busy because of the after 5pm deal. Line out the door! When I go back to Wilmington, I’ll be going back for more tacos.

Done with this place. Made an average size order an hour prior only to show up and they said they canceled it because they didn’t have any shrimp. The guy sat there playing on his phone with no respect to us. No call, no text, no email…said they refunded…no refund…yet. How do you just cancel an order and not notify? Only text I received was that our food would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. Unbelievable. Had to rush and figure out food for the kids. Not the first time there have been issues … terrible. Save yourself time and support another local business.

Got home and checked my bag and had the wrong order. There is a mix at the register and I said are those my tacos and they said absolutely and well they were absolutely not my tacos. should have opened them up right then and there and I’m too far to go back. Disappointed.

I typically love coming to Islands and visit quite regularly. This last time was I was very disappointed with the outcome. I put in for a pick up order around 9:20 in the evening. I picked up the order at 9:45.
When I arrived home I noticed that my tacos were unusually small and one of them was overly spiced to the point of not being edible. I always order veggie tacos, so I was not surprised by the lack of meat but I was surprised by the lack of everything else. I am also not typically sensitive to spice. Basically there was a scarce amount of toppings on each and they were more or less tortillas and not much else.
I know that I ordered late, but the app does not cut off ordering, there were people still eating and ordering in the restaurant when I arrived, and I tipped. I am pretty surprised by the lack of care that was given towards my order and disappointed.

Huge burritos. As long as my hand. The only thing worth mentioning is that the Queso is like colored milk consistency, so any burritos with queso are very drippy.
We ordered a Fajita Burrito with Pork and a Island Jerk Burrito with Jerk Chicken. Very tasty.

I have celiac disease and I usually eat at the location on Racine with no issues since they always assist me with my allergy however today was different. I watched a woman throw a tortilla on top of the chicken that is supposed to be gluten free. It was no anymore so I couldn’t eat anything since I am getting on the road and highly allergic to gluten even through simple cross contamination like the ladies working today did. I’m pretty pissed.

Usually I love going to islands I get the same thing every time and it’s always usually good. This is my first time taking to go, so I didn’t know if it was gonna be different but yesterday I decided to get the same thing as always, shrimp burrito with but decided to get it extra shrimp. I finally had the chance to eat it. I thought it tasted different and I thought it was just me though until it got bad I had to take it apart and it wasn’t what I ordered. It had chicken in it and I only got like four pieces of shrimp I didn’t get any extra I feel like. Honestly, this last me feeling unsatisfactory and left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully the next time will be better.

I loved how fresh the food was and how efficient the line moved! I was in town for a week and ate here 3 times. The $1 tacos are a hit and I love the fresh salsa bar. 4 tacos at $1 each plus a drink for less than $6!! You can’t beat it!

I don’t know how in the world this place got 4.5 stars. The customer service from the jump was terrible. One employee did not speak English but was trying to take orders and messing all out orders up. I don’t know if this is the manager or if he is just the angry man in charge. This was the worst. I will never ever ever come back here ever again. And, I recommend you do the same. The food was horrible it was bland and had no taste whatsoever…..it was cold. I came here with 10 family members… And we all came to the same conclusion… They should definitely go out of business….or fire the angry man.
I am a fond believer that you cannot cook angry. You have to cook with love and this restaurant is not giving love. They suck.
