We love Watami! We live about an hour & a half away and come here as much as possible. The food is always fresh and hot, perfect flavor, our servers are always fantastic! They seem to be in the process of remodeling currently maybe expanding, not too sure, but either way it’s a great restaurant!

Was in town snowboarding and we decided to come here. Everything tasted excellent, service was good, we were greeted right way when we walked in even though the restaurant pretty full. Would come back and recommend if we are in town again.

We love Watami! Everything we have eaten here has been wonderful. All the dishes taste authentic and not super greasy and salty. Their menu is HUGE and we have several of their dishes and never been disappointed. The 2 times we have eaten at the restaurant we had a great experience, with a warm greeting by the owner and great service throughout. Our experience with takeout has always been great too! This is one of our go-to staples and the best part about it is we are always able to make 2 or 3 meals out of it because the portions are so large. Can’t wait to come pick up our dinner tonight 🙂

We usually enjoy eating here. Last time we had a party of 5. It took over 30 min before our order was taken, and another hour to get our food, only which half of what we ordered was brought out. The waiter never came back to check on us. We had to actually tell the lady at the checkout we havent got our bill and need to pay. That will be the last time they get our business.

Our favorite restaurant in Waynesville! Food is always great and is reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly. Great sushi and our kids love the noodle soup. Highly recommend.

Visiting from out of state and staying near the downtown so decided to give a try and was not disappointed! For 8:30pm on a Friday night they were absolutely packed which is usually a good sign. We ordered takeout, I called ahead to confirm the order and was assured it was being worked on with the notes I added so customer service was great. The portions were good (sushi rolls were packed!) and the price was definitely fair. Got some ramen for the picky kiddo and they made sure to make it to her preference: Solid all around! Give it a try for a sushi or noodle fix.

My wife and I have been coming here for a while now, and we just had lunch today, and it was so good that I really wanted to share pics and comment on our server, Cameron. We have had him a couple of times, and every time, he has been so attentive and nice. He is very attentive but not hovering. He is nice but over talkative. He is exact. We have never had a mistake with him. We asked for roe on the side, and as you can see, it came out perfect. Thank you, we will be back many more times.
