Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went into this Whataburger expecting decent service and a clean environment, but instead I walked into a hangout spot for the employees. Most of them were just sitting around eating together while customers were clearly waiting. One employee was standing around on his phone, not doing anything. It felt like I had stepped into their break room instead of a restaurant. If they put as much effort into customer service as they do into chilling together, maybe this place wouldn’t be so disappointing. Definitely not coming back.

I made a mistake about the menu items and what I ordered and the manager was kind and gave me the actual thing I wanted without making me go through checkout process again. The food all tasted good too, i got the breakfast platter for my daughter she ate the pancakes and bacon in about five seconds flat

I was looking forward to my honey butter chicken biscuit but this was the worst one I’ve ever had at a whataburger. The coffee was also watered down. I’ve never been disappointed by Whataburger before so it breaks my heart that the food at this location was horrible.

They must have had someone new on the register on drive-thru. Quite a line of cars. After 3 attempts to order a Whataburger with mustard, the manager came on and took my order. I requested jalapeno ranch dressing twice but found none in the bag when I got home. Fries were barely warm.

I’m increasingly unimpressed, and dissatisfied with this location. I’ve had the ability to watch how the teams interact under different shift leads as my orders are consistently brought out late. There’s work to be done on the way each shift leader interacts with their employees. I’ve watched as one in particular verbally bullies his crew members. There’s been 3 times over the past 6 weeks I’ve waited 15+ minutes for pick up orders. Twice for dinner, once for breakfast. The atmosphere is hostile. Today a manager and cashier ignored me while arguing over whether or not the cashier should clock out. (21 minutes before the end of her shift. I only know because they had the convo right infront of my face.) THEN my fries AND gravy were both cold!! despite the proximity to my house, I think I’ll go down the street to the Mopac & William Cannon location due to the above. I would actually love to speak with someone regarding the consistent issues with this location. It’s no wonder there’s issues in the kitchen, the upper management needs a serious evaluation. Corporate needs to pay this location a visit ASAP!!!!

The fries were old. The sandwich was okay. I was told I had to come into the store if I wanted to fill my commemorative cup for free. I was originally told by another staff person that my drink would be free when I used the cup. I was never told this only applied to dine in. Disappointed.

Man this place food quality wise compared to other locations is one of the worst here in Austin. The last 3 times I have come here the food is just not good. And I don’t come here often. Fries are always cold and just terrible. Burgers are sloppy and put together poorly. Taquitos are awful here. Always undercooked, and just stale tasting. Everytime I go to a different location it’s night and day difference in food quality and actually is good. Go to a different location if you can.
