Im not gonna lie im not the type of person to complain about hairs in my food because im plumber and i simply dont care sometimes bc im hungry but my girlfriend just ate here w me and received multiple hairs cooked in her chicken. it made her throw up and anxious she didnt even want me to say anything but i couldnt resist not letting them hear my frustration, me and my girlfriend love pollo tropical so it pains me that after a long day of work this is what i have to deal with.

Unfortunately, this location has worsened over time. The staff is generally friendly, fast service but the food quality has continued to decline. I used to enjoy the tropi-chops with rice and beans, but they started causing stomach issues, like I see now people have found aswell. forcing me to opt for the grill chicken wrap. Until March 15, 2023, when I was completely disgusted and disappointed to find a bug on the wrap. I often go drive tru and when I went inside the establishment was dirty and while exiting it seems a tile was broken under the door rug. The establishment was recently fumigated and notice the buns stacked stored on a shelf just like about 3 inches above the floor. I am only posting my review for awareness if you are immunocompromised to be careful.

I use to enjoy Pollo tropical for years. The servings are too small now. We ordered regular tropichops, but it feels like a kids portion. Also, how do you charge the same price for a vegetarian tropichop as with chicken, but then just remove the chicken and not add anything else (i.e , extra rice, veggies, beans, etc) – drop the price or substitute the meat.

My wife and I ordered 2 tropichop, 1 classic and 1 crispy To take out. When we arrived home and sit down to have lunch we realized my wife’s classic lack all chicken, just rice, beans, tomatoes, corn and onions which by the way she asked not to include it on her plate. This is the result of a coworker talking to the service lady when preparing the menu ordered. Next time I will be sure to check what it is handed to me .

I didn’t realize the cost was double than what I ordered. Whoever took my order didn’t speak English well and added stuff that I didn’t order. I paid w my ATM and didn’t realize total until I got home and saw receipt. I advise everyone to check their order B4 paying. Anyway the food was fresh and delicious. Gave the extra meal to my neighbor cause overnight PT doesn’t taste good.

It was late. I used the drive through expecting mechanical like service and the usual detached atmosphere I have found at other drive throughs. Instead I was pleasantly surprised when the crew, was just thoughtful and kind suggesting variations to the menu seemingly to make the experience more satisfying. Well whatever the motive it’s certainly a whole lot better than having your food shoved through a window which gets slammed shut as if to say ‘you got your order, now go.’ Instead there were people with conversation with personalities that didn’t ignore the customer. And it was 10 min to closing.

I see why this place has the terrible reviews it has I went here for the first time in a long time the service was terrible their answers for everything is they can’t do something.They can’t put toppings on the side they cant remove ham from a sandwich. They roll their eyes and huff and puff when speaking to PAYING CUSTOMERS. This is one of the worst pollo tropicals the sandwich was burnt on the ends and the chicken was undercooked and let’s talk about portions. I know they say there is shortages but you can’t charge the same price for less food ! See the pics I attached! Go anywhere but here!
