I never sat down to a full meal here but it was completely awesome and worth every penny!! We went out for my grandma Carole’s 88th birthday!! We did 4 apps because we rarely go out to eat and I wanted to feast. The crab dip was my favorite and I ate almost a whole one myself because the accidently brought us 2 of em . The hot peppers and oil, delicious. The fried cheese… also awesome and my son’s favorite. He don’t like to get out of the house much but after getting a couple plates worth of these apps he was soooo HAPPY to be at Steamers!! The Calamari, also awesome and delicious. A couple pieces were overcooked according to my wife BUT I been in kitchen before and realize that happens. I still smashed as much of that as I could because it taste so good!! Tasted the wife’s Rueben… truly one of the best around and I usually don’t like Marble Rye as much as Schwebels Jewish rye!! I got a salmon and snow crab special with some kind of yellow sauce. The yellow sauce with that plate was bland and didn’t add anything to the mix until I salt and peppered it a bit. Then it was bomb. The Jambalaya my son got… fantastic!! He barely could eat any Jambalaya that night as we were already stuffed which is also why I ordered a simpler, lighter dinner. But the NEXT day I heated up the Jambalaya in a pan and threw some over easy eggs on top for my son and I and OMG…. Soooo dang good!! My daughter had the grilled cheese and fries which was mostly her breakfast the next day too. Airfield it… she finished it ALL which means awesome work!! I did do a side of angel hair w/ oil and garlic and it wasn’t salted at all either. Easy fix and was delicious after that. The lady server we had I cannot remember her name but she was quick, attentive, and did not miss a thing for our somewhat needy family. She was an super sweet asian lady with tattoos if I remember right and she was sooooo good with my kids!! 10/10 would recommend!!! =)

When I’ve saved up enough money, I treat myself with this place. Because I go out of my way to order the “Deadliest Catch”! It’s based on the TV series of the same name.

To have the ability to enjoy such a rare sea food option so close to home (1 hour drive) is worth it to me.

I have tried their steaks, fish, pasta, pork, & chicken dishes… everyone of them were fantastic and served with grace. The hospitality there is of typical country origins, and is welcomed by this humble old man.

It’s very affordable for the normal dinner options. When I started going to Steamers the “Deadliest Catch” was $75… my most recent visit… $220. It’s worth it… to me. Beats going to Gloucester MA to get the same at Mc T’s, and costs less too.

The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it a nice spot for a date night, family dinner or even just a quick bite. It was a Friday night and it was a packed house, but our wait time was only about 15 minutes for the two of us. Our server was attentive and friendly and kept our drinks filled. I started out with the caramel martini and it was delicious. We each ordered the side salad and they brought us fresh rolls. And for our entrées, we had the balsamic blue fillet and the Dijon glaze New York strip steak. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We ordered the steaks to be cooked medium and they came out perfect. This was our first time here and it will most definitely not be our last.

Our first time here and on a Friday evening no less. We hit the place at the perfect time. We were seated immediately and 15 minutes later, the wait for tables started for everyone else! We started our meal with papers in oil (perfect)! The wife ordered Shrimp Scampi, I ordered Sweet Potato and Broiled Scallops with spiced nuts! I believe the scallops could have cooked another 2 to 3 minutes however we were both highly satisfied! The only reason for 4 stars is because of the Scallops. Our server was Ava. She was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I agree that Ava was so sweet, kind, and patient that I tipped her 32% of our bill total. Y’all need more servers such as Ava! I wear hearing aids and i can say, the atmosphere wasn’t too loud. Prices were reasonable. Lastly, parking is a nightmare. That needs to be addressed.

Excellent, delicious food. Friendly, attentive service. The food was served fresh, hot and very quickly. The portions were the perfect size and very flavorful. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and helped with our selections. We will definitely be going back for another visit when in the area.

Stopped for supper for the first time. Definitely will NOT be the last time! The steamed clams were great, brought back special memories of clambakes with my Dad. The dill salmon and chicken salad were also delicious. We will be back soon!

A mid-week lunch with friends. No crowd. GPS directions were good and parking is plentiful.
Typical bar/food setup. Noise level was ok with no crowd. But as the crowd got bigger, the noise got louder and my hearing aids were overwhelmed.
Menu was seafood heavy with an interesting selection. We were served dinner rolls with our lunch menu. That seemed odd. Nice, but odd.
Food came quickly. Portions were smallish but nicely plated. The food was good but lacked any “wow” factory. Writing this 3 days later, I cannot remember what I ordered.
Steamers wasn’t “bad”. It was clean and the server was excellent. But it was boring. The food was boring, the decor was boring. It was all boring.

Perfect service varied menu with many appetizing options. I tried the champagne shrimp and it was amazing! As we’re the oysters and brussel sprouts. The bread pudding is a must have!

Dinner tonight became a date night at an old favorite at Steamers. We are here for our granddaughter’s graduation and have not been here for years. We decided to go to an old favorite and glad we did! Started with drinks and Thai Calamari followed with Rare Balsamic Filets with Blue Cheese and a baked potato for my wife and Italian Greens for me!

Our server Hannah Kidd was wonderful and treated us like important people and friends. She made our night special and when in town we will be back!
