Amazing pizza and drinks! Their Amaro Old Fashioned is to die for! Excellent service, everything fresh- I’ll definitely be back to try more than just the pizza. Come in quick to get the Amaro cuz it’s only on the Specials right now, not permanent cocktails, so get it while you can. It was my first time there today and I was blown away by the options and freshness. Half the places in Cleveland Heights’ Little Italy don’t even make fresh pasta and housemade sauce.

We went to Bar Italia in Lakewood on a Saturday evening, and it was very busy—my mistake for not making a reservation! Luckily, we snagged a couple of seats at the bar, and it turned out to be a great night. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was still on point despite the crowd.
The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Crispy Chicken Limonelle—so flavorful and tender. The Chicken Parmesan was also fantastic, classic and comforting.
We’ll definitely be back, and we’ve already been telling our friends about it. If you’re thinking about going, make a reservation—but either way, it’s worth it!

Selena was our waitress and she was literally the kindest, most accommodating person ever! The food was bomb and the drinks were great too! We came in super late but she didn’t make us feel rushed or anything. It was my man’s birthday and she gave us a free dessert with a candle to take home as well!!! Genuinely love this place and we will definitely be back not just for the food but for Selena’s great service

We stumbled upon Bar Italia when we were in the neighborhood and the quality of the food and service blew us away. We sat at the bar and their storefront windows were open on a nice day, so we could feel a warm breeze come through. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Short Rib Arancini, the Meatballs, and a Margarita Pizza. Everything tasted SO good!! The Caesar Salad and Margarita Pizza were one of the best we have ordered from a restaurant. They were quick to take our order and quick to deliver our food. The restaurant is spacious, so we didn’t feel crammed. We will certainly be back again.

This place is always so busy. We went on a Monday night and it was packed. Make sure to grab a reservation. The atmosphere was nice and fancy. Grabbed the shrimp scampi as an appetizer and I have to say it was so good. Therer were maybe 7-8 large, fat shrimps. The sauce was delicious. Main dish in the pictures didn’t look that big but after the appetizer, it was a lot. Ended up taking half of it home.

Went on a weekday and it was still fairly busy, I recommend trying for a reservation. The cocktails were good (I had a Paloma) and the shrimp scampi for an appetizer was delicious as well. For the main I opted for the chicken parmesan. The chicken portion of the dish was really good however the pasta felt like an afterthought as it was cold and served on a side dish.

we ordered the pesto cream arancini which was absolutely fire probably the best arancini I’ve ever had the privilege to try. The stuffed peppers were the right amount of heat, not too little. The pepper vessel was sweet with a gentle caress of sausage. The bread was fine but the other two apps were really the stars of the show. I ordered the lemon chicken which was good and papa got the short rib pasta which papa says is his favorite pasta in the city!!!!! Fire we will be back

I have been wanting to try Bar Italia for the longest and finally did the other day. I was so excited that we were going to try it and it didn’t disappoint! What an amazing experience! We had to make a reservation since they were pretty booked but as soon as we arrived they got us seated and ready to go. Our server was extremely nice and helpful when we asked for recommendations, we knew we wanted pizza but were a bit doubtful about which ones. We decided to go for the fig one and the mushroom one and man they were delicious!!!!! Can’t recommend them enough!! We also got a side of bread and it was extremely tasty, crunchy and good too, we loved it!
Finally, the atmosphere was beautiful too, it was great for a date night out and to enjoy some great quality food.
Can’t wait to come back and try their pastas, the plates other people had looked delicious as well and I am sure they will taste amazing too. Definitely a great place to go!

Quaint place, the food, I had the Frito Misto and the Braised Shortribs with pasta (and yes I ate the appetizer and the main course all of it, just me and it was amazing.) The White Peach Sangria was perfectly made and the perfect accompaniment to the food. The tables are a little close together but the ambiance, food and cocktails make up for the closeness. Price I paid $60 was for App, main course and a cocktail. Also included tip.
