First time here. Very casual place. If you are going here to get treated like royalty, this isn’t the place NOW. If you want to be treated like family, though, this is the place! Yup, this is it! I wanted an extra plate, so I got up, walked into the staff station, and grabbed one (no one gave me a second look). It’s that kind of place, and I like that the food’s solid. Good portions, good price. It felt like a lot of regulars to me. I saw an older gentleman struggling to get up from his seat, so I started that way to help, but before I got there, there were already 2 other customers helping him. I walked him and the 2 women who were with him to the car, and they said “TY” and were on their way. When I came back, several people said “TY” to me for helping him. That was the vibe here the whole time. Had a steak and the deviled crab (a first for me that reminds me of the stuffed quahog, clams in Rhode Island where I’m from, “STUFFIES”).All in all, we were very pleased and will be back.

I can’t believe it. I should have paid the 11.99 to just walk out and go home. The parking lot was packed, which gives me hope that at least I might live through this awful experience. Let me start with the menu on the buffet, or at least what I willed myself to eat. The pulled pork, or chicken, I could not tell, and the staff didn’t even know, had this “off” flavor. As a matter of fact, nearly EVERYTHING except the slaw, which I imagine came out of a package, had that same off flavor.
I got to the bar before the utensils went in the food and there was already a hair on my piece of fish. I only found out it was fish later, because it looks like a baked potato. What the hay? Never seen anything like it. The biscuits and cornbread are not mixed properly, the desserts look like they were made four days before hand, and the salad bar is dismal at best.
The wait staff are all friendly, but don’t critique the food or ask a question. They know nothing about anything, especially what’s in the food. And they speak openly about customers in the dining area so all can hear.
There was inadequate soap in the bathroom and the toilet paper sits directly on the floor, so yeah. Needless to say I wont be returning.

Giving 5 stars for the taste and proportions of the food. The food is always great here, however they don’t put enough sauce on the spaghetti and when you asked for a little bit of extra, they want to charge you $5!
Service is hit and miss. We go often and sometimes we get great service, other times not so great. There is a lot of turnover as far as servers, not sure why.

Wife and I rolled into town debating on where we would eat. I knew how good the food was because, well, it ain’t my first rodeo here.

The staff is super friendly, the prices are great and the food is phenomenal. Not many places left to get good “home cooking” while you’re out and about. The Sirloin House is one of the few left.

Quiet little place. Very homey. Visiting from out of town.

Overall the food was ok. It wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. I received the wrong steak, I told my server that I ordered the filet and this was not it as there was way to much fat. Her response was “she believes it”.

The steak was ok so I ate what I could since obviously that’s what I was going to have to eat. Just to fatty for my taste (why I opted for a different cut).

Baked potato was ok. I definitely didn’t expect cheese sauce (vs shredded cheese) , so it must be a here thing. Again not bad, just not my choice.

Mac and cheese was decent.

When asked what bread I would like the server recommended the rolls with honey & butter, so I went with that. The same server then brought me rolls with only butter.

Decent place, good pricing.

Entirely too crowded and the poor waitresses were overwhelmed they shouldn’t have let that many people in the food was mediocre at best. I got the fried mushrooms, prime rib, cheese sticks, and jumbo shrimp with side salads. The mushroom’s were awful mushy and flavorless, the cheese sticks shrimp and salads were the only decent things. As for the prime rib I have never been so horrified at how something as good as prime rib was treated. Somehow overcooked the outside without even getting a sear while leaving the middle raw. Our waitress Savannah was super nice she was great I felt bad with how busy they had her.

I like everything I’ve had for breakfast but generally order off the menu as the buffet is too much for me 😉

Food was awful. We got a filet mignon that honestly had the texture of a sirloin, a New York strip that was heavily cooked in oil. The food had no seasoning. Overall overrated and cheap ingredients with a mid grade price. Our waitress Gia was kind and helpful and we’d love to See her do better than this dump. Would not recommend

Breakfast buffet very good. Got there later in morning so they were trading out breakfast and lunch, but still good and seemed fresh up until they took food up.

A local favorite. The Sirloin House has a pleasant atmosphere and close to downtown Eden. Our waitress Krystal was cheerful and friendly. The food is reasonably priced and quite tasty. Will plan to eat here again when we pass though again.
