The food was so flavorful!!! This is my first time ordering from this restaurant and I can say, I’m glad I did. I ordered the lettuce wrap and golden California rolls. So much flavor. The lettuce wraps consist of diced chicken and vegetables which are grilled to perfection in some kind of marinade. The rolls are deep fried lightly topped with a spicy tuna and when topped with eel sauce, perfect. I’ll try them again and order differently for sure. Food was packaged with care and still steaming when arrived.

A pretty great first experience for hot pot.
Went in with a group of 5, and the waitress took a while to take orders and get the food/ingredients out, but everyone got a lot of good stuff.
Wouldn’t really recommend coming in large groups. Best for 1-4 people.
Food was brought out in large groups instead of smaller more controlled groups.

Hello reader,
I’ve been coming to sushi soho since I moved to Texas in 2023 and this was always my go to spot and it used to to be amazing but unfortunately in my opinion ever since they introduced the hotpot section of the restaurant, the quality and portion sizes of the sushi went down extremely. I understand from a cost standpoint the owners most likely decided to split the budget in half, maybe something like 60%-40% to save money overall or simply remain in budget and to make sure each side (sushi or hotpot) was well balanced. Ive come back to the restaurant 4 separate times since the introduction of the hot point and I noticed each time I came back the quality of the sushi went down and the service. My recent experience was not great at all I had the same server before that is very dismissive and rather talk to her colleagues in Hindi instead of properly tending to her customers. I’m not a needy customer but twice I’d had to flag her down and remind her that I’ve ordered other items that never came and to top it all off this 01-26-26, I received SPOILED/ ROTTEN CONDENSED MILK on the milky buns. When the sever placed it on my table I instantly knew that It was spoiled because It had a green hue to it. (The pictures don’t really pickup on that well.) Even with me seeing that it was that color I still tried the milk on my chopstick and oh my god was it sour . Overall I’m very disappointed that my once favorite sushi spot had declined in quality and service and even served me spoiled items. I will not be returning unfortunately. If you you’ve never been here before and know what good quality sushi taste like I believe you will be dissatisfied coming here.

The first time I came here, the food was pretty good, and I had fun with my friends, but I came back a second time and it was horrible. The ramen was absolutely flavorless. The tofu was sour in the miso soup. The Japanese Short ribs were still good though! Grilled shrimp was alright, not the best shrimp I’ve had.
This place is definitely somewhere to go for all you can eat sushi.

Great pricing for all you can eat. Couple of weird rules like the whole table either picks sushi or Hotpot menu. Otherwise, service is great, and my god- the food is delicious. Perfect first place date for under $100 fellas

We got the hot pot and sushi AYCE. Hot pot had limited choices for meat/add on. And the sushi had a larger menu section to choose from but it wasn’t the best tasting fish. Atmosphere was good and service was kind.

Best sushi I have had in a long time.
Excellent wait staff, very patient for a first timer.
Definitely a must have if you’re in the area.

Tried Hot Pot for the first time! It is a little hard to navigate if you haven’t done it before. They do have a sign to help you make different sauces which really helped season my broth. You can order as much meat, noodles and vegetables as you want but they dont bring it out all at once. Its a good idea so you dont waste food. Overall I enjoyed it and would do it again!

I was very excited to try the hot pot feature here. I opted for the $34 AYCE hot pot option which also included soups, appetizers, Dim Sum, and several entrees. While the food was tasty, the service was frustrating. I had to ask twice for the ribeye for the Hot pot, and many of the appetizers (atleast 5 items). I asked for fish cakes twice and never received them. 2 of the items my group requested (salted egg Custard buns and a drink), the waitress came back and said they were sold out after ordering. Our waitress seemed to disappear for long periods. Not sure if they were understaffed. I might try them again. Hoping it was a fluke as the food was good and nice overall value for an ayce experience.
