I had the pleasure of dining at Melo’s Pizza and Pasta, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed with the ample parking available, which made the beginning of our evening hassle-free.
We decided to start with the BBQ Chicken Salad, and I must say, it was a standout dish. The salad was incredibly fresh, featuring crisp greens and succulent BBQ chicken that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The combination of flavors was not only refreshing but also satisfyingly hearty.

Service was fast! We have three small kids under 10 and their food come out super fast! Our server was efficient and attentive. Made a great recommendation (fig, prosciutto pizza). Clean. Lots of staff. It was busy but we got right in (seated at 6). They have real hand thrown pizzas too! Seriously, there’s a guy throwing pizza dough!

Two couples walked in after me, however they were were seated before me. I was told someone would be with me shortly. After a 12 minute wait I asked if my friend and I could seat ourselves. Only then we were seated. The service was super slow, the wait staff seemed irritated, but the food was good. I’ve experienced very slow service before, but this was blatant disrespect. As much as I like the food served at Melo’s, the service is equally important. I will think twice about patronizing Melo’s again. Also, we had to request bread for the table multiple times.

We ordered Chicken Marsala, Mediterranean salad and the Cheese Raviolis. only downside was the Raviolis only came with 7 Raviolis for $20… a little steep. they were good but for a few dollars more you get more with the Chicken Marsala with Mushroom risotto. The Caramelized Pineapple Margarita was good too! not too expensive for drinks ~$12.50 a drink

Update: Decided to bring my husband here for a date lunch. We ordered from the lunch specials. We both loved my gorganzola, pear, & prosciutto pizzetta. However, my husband didn’t order as well…the penne e bistecca was not very good quality or taste. Surprising because when he ordered, the server told him that was very popular. Thankfully, the manager removed the meal off the bill, but can’t recommend that dish. Bread and pizzetta were a hit though…so was the minestrone soup and caesar salad!

The food was delicious and the value seemed to be mostly good to us…large portions!
My son lasagna so we got the Lasagna for sure, and my daughter got the Chicken Linguine Alfredo. The warm bread was also pretty good!
Was a nice treat but not one we’ll do often…

The service is absolutely amazing here. I go for the lunch special and the food has always been very delicious . The environment is also very welcoming with the nicest servers. My current favorite pizza spot.

Coffee was room temperature. Bread was unappetizing. The garlic bread almost didn’t arrive, but was much better. The pasta was great. Service was terrible in the beginning, got a star better towards the middle, then dropped back to terrible at the end. The other servers were on point though, just not ours. The atmosphere is good, this is bigger than the Walnut Creek location. We’ll try again and update this review. Thank you.

Our first time at Melo’s Brentwood location and wish we visited sooner. You get complimentary bread with butter while you wait for your food. We had a small New Yorker pizza and it was really good and we got them to make the pepperoni extra crispy. Refills for regular sodas and iced tea.
