I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing. We paid £34 for just four items, and the portion sizes were extremely small. The ingredients were also very salty, and the pav bhaji alone cost over £12 with very little quantity.

Neither the taste nor the pricing was satisfactory. The food arrived almost an hour later than the expected delivery time and was completely cold by the time it reached us.

We have ordered from many restaurants across England and Scotland, but this is by far the most disappointing experience we have had. It honestly felt like a very poor level of customer service, and I’m not sure how a business can continue operating like this.

We were recommended here by our friends who visit often. It was hands down, the best curry we’d ever had. So tasty, spicy and seasoned beautifully. We had the sharing platter to start and each thing I tasted I had to put the other half back on my plate to save it to the end. So fresh and honestly beautiful. I had a chicken spicy curry that’s currently only on the Christmas menu and I will be going back during my the festive period so I don’t miss it again. I would say it was slightly more expensive than average but that’s clearly due to the quality of the ingredients. It somehow didn’t seem expensive because of how genuinely beautiful it tasted!
All staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. We genuinely had such a wonderful experience here and I cannot wait to come back! I’ve not been this excited about a restaurant in a very long time!

The best words to describe this is fresh, tasty and very high quality. We will absolutely be back as soon as possible!

The food is understated, beautiful, and absolutely delicious! Generous portions and fairly priced! We had three lamb dishes, a chicken biryani, two butter chickens, and several starters. There wasn’t a single miss!!

A must go for anyone!

Sad there won’t be one when we get back to Canada!

Staff were nice but my mocktail took 45 mins to arrive and then the food took almost 2 hours. It wasn’t even that busy. They forgot my starter and then brought it after the main when I reminded them. I messaged beforehand to ask if they have any creamy vegan curries to which they said yes, several. Then when I arrived they said they don’t have any. We expected a discount but they didn’t even remove the VAT. not the best experience.

Hosts were so lovely and helpful. They were also extremely friendly to not just ourselves but to everyone around the restaurant. The food was the best Indian food I’ve had in Glasgow. Honestly amazing.

Had a lovely afternoon here last Thursday when me and my friends tried the afternoon tea. What an experience. Staff were so friendly and informative about the food we had. Our waiter Kuma, explained one of the dishes “golgappa” and told us how it should be eaten. OMG you must try it. Will definitely be back to savour some more dishes

The Dhaba Glasgow – A Hidden Gem!

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were warm and welcoming. The food? Incredible.

We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, some homestyle Indian dishes, and the Daal – all bursting with authentic flavors. The starters were just as impressive. The Vada Pav was outstanding – honestly, better than what I’ve had in Mumbai. And the Dahi Vada? Simply wow. Light, flavorful, and refreshing.

Every dish was a 10/10. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better.

Highly recommend if you’re in Glasgow and craving proper, delicious Indian food. The Dhaba is where it’s at!

Well! We ended up in this restaurant as 1st choice was full ( this was recommended by our 1st choice).
Being seated, although full, we were treated as friends and old acquaintances. A fantastic welcome!
Once seated we were offered menus and drinks. A quick scan of the menu revealed a slightly different menu from what would be expected.
After selection we waited a mere 10 minutes for what can only be described as an adventure into authentic North Indian cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised. Nothing akin to your high street 3 in 1 or chain establishments.
If you want to taste India, this is the place to go.
Can’t wait for next visit to delve a bit further into the ‘delights within’
