Decided to take a drive and try the burgers here. We were not disappointed. Small bar on Indian Lake. It would seat about 50 tops. Only a few people there. The burgers were great. I had the Bacon and Swiss. 1/2 pound burger with several nice slabs of bacon. The onion, tomato, and pickle were fresh. I also had the poppers. Better Half had the burger basket.
Would we go back? Yes.

Ohhhhh My!! They just continue to wow us ! See the latest photo additions! The HALF POUND BURGERS are so juicy and so takes lots of napkins which are readily available.

Very unique dining atmosphere! The building is about 180 years old and is a former ice house So over the years it just started to sag a bit….. sounds familiar
Burgers were very good. I opted for the fried bologna with everything on it. My son ordered a pizza. Pizza was very ordinary… but my 12 year old son didn’t complain.
Service was very friendly. Prices were average. I am only deducting a star as the place is cash only. Which limited our plans. There is an ATM…. but I refuse to pay the service fees.

Ole school, family-friendly bar, and grill. You can walk, ride your bike, drive, or dock your boat. I ate there three times and enjoyed all three meals. Drinks were cold, and the half pound burgers are definitely a half pound.

Old meat , the burgers are pre-cooked and old , 70/30 meat that been frozen. The burgers are big because of the filler, everything is frozen, nothing was fresh, the owners were rude to the cooks. All under pay. Cash only. Go to Woody’s diner for the best food

Basic bar food menu. The burgers are gigantic and seem to be what everyone suggests. Beer list could be better. Staff was friendly and service was quick. My only gripe is it is a cash only business and I didn’t know that until after dinner. They do have an ATM inside so you can pull cash to pay your bill.

Had lunch here today. Great patio on the water, great service and good food. Had fishtail sandwich, pizza burger and pork tenderloin. Either fries or onion chips on the side. All hot and tasty. Has docks for boat parking. It was busy midweek so, that says a lot.
Drawbacks are cash only and draft beer is unavailable at this time. Those won’t keep me from returning.

Not bad for a dive bar. Food is good and decently priced. Could use some updating cosmetically, but a solid place to eat.

Probably a cool experience more than anything, however we walked in and were just stared at. We thought about just leaving but figured we’ve give it a try since we drove 15 min around the lake to get there and it was a suggestion from a local. Heavy set lady sitting down finally said something when I asked if they were still serving food. With attitude inside or outside you pick. Not being locals we didn’t know…We sat inside she didn’t move from her seat and demanded the girl who was rolling silverware to the door. I closed it. They said nothing we sat where we waited. It took a while to be greated by another lady even though there were 4 people coming and going. The waitress was nice. My husband liked his burger but my wings were possibly undercooked. I didn’t eat the one that looked questionable. Probably better places to eat with friendlier staff there are other places on the lake. Also I’d add a handwashing station and better ventilation or air fresheners in the bathroom because it’s unappealing to have to go in a stinky restroom just to wash your hands. And have to wait for all the people who are using it…
