I had a great experience at this McDonald’s! I placed my order through the drive-thru, and the young gentleman taking orders was an absolute delight super friendly, kind, and just overall amazing energy. The lady who handed me my food was very polite as well. My order came out hot, fresh, and exactly right. Overall, the food was wonderful and the staff made the whole visit even better. Definitely a 5-star experience!

1527 w.5th ave Gary Indiana store needs to be shut down,all employers needs to be replaced, including the manager on Night Shift. There’s a lot of disrespectful young employees that don’t have an idea on how to communicate with customers they don’t follow orders the horse play in this establishment. They close the doors whenever they get ready to for customers to sit in a long waiting line For them to pick and choose who they want to give their orders to in a timely manner they bring their personal feelings to this establishment. they are aggressive. The employees disrespectful am my opinion. The whole crew needs to be replaced. I would not return to this establishment.

This is the worst McDonald’s in Hammond! The employees move as slow as possible. Yesterday I watched the woman on the line in the kitchen walk around and talk instead of making the DoorDash order I waited 20 minutes for. Please tell me how it took 20 minutes to get out an order that consisted on 2 cheeseburgers and a small fry in an empty restaurant?!
Night shift workers refuse to even make the DoorDash orders. Literally wasting my time coming to the resultant. If the order goes through it should be made, period. The overnight manager needs additional training in customer service.

I ordered a sausage and cheese muffin and I get an egg and cheese biscuit. The girl in the drive thru looked like she didn’t even want to be there. I couldn’t understand the girl working the drive thru mic. Apparently she doesn’t know English. Terrible here, just terrible!!!

I order the same meal no matter the mcdonalds and it taste the worst ar this McDonald. I ask for no salt on my fries and they are salty as ever. Really no bacon on a bacon quarter pounder. DONT GO THERE!! Service was very bad waited about 15 minutes. Seen 2 prepping food in the back and one at the drive thru. One person came in and walked right past me even though I was waiting at the register. She even looked at me then started playing with her phone looked at me again and still ignored me. Another had to come and take me order because she was too busy looking at her phone. Couple of the workers were complaining about their job and how they need to switch locations. It’s crazy if your really that unhappy with your job then look for another. The girl who was looking at her phone had her car keys there as well right next to where they were bagging the food at come on get it together.

The night crew is under staff and very unprofessional. They don’t care for customer service they put things that have fallen on the ground back into inventory. The floors are nasty and they joke around more than a normal crew should.
