Tried their buffalo shrimp tacos and it was ok. The tacos got more sour the more I ate it, was hard to finish. The strawberry limeade was ok too. I liked the vibe of the place, was actually heading elsewhere but decided to leave that and drop in here for lunch instead when I was walking past. Upbeat music, mix of oldies 80s with current pop songs. Slow service. Big screen sports. Overall food was better than average, just not wow.

Great atmosphere with reasonable prices for downtown Austin. We sat outside near the heaters and it was quite comfortable. They big screens showing the games. We went around 8:00pm and it got packed shortly after. The brussel sprouts were yummy!!! My friends had the brisket tacos and brazos burgers which they loved. We’ll definitely be back for some more good times.

I got seated very quickly and had the bbq brisket sandwich. Food was great and I liked the patio area. Even though the staff was nice they did take a little bit long to refill water and did not come by often to see if I needed anything else. I wanted to order another beer but no one came around. Food was good though so I can’t complain too much.

My wife and I decided to try out the Cedar Door Patio Bar & Grill during our 3 night stay in Austin. We are staying at a hotel just around the corner (I’m writing this from our hotel room waiting to go back to the Cedar Door this evening!) so wanted somewhere close to unwind and boy were we glad we chose the Cedar Door!! This place is quite simply stunning. The biggest compliment I can give should go to the staff, who were all incredible, making us feel so welcome, which businesses in our home town in the UK should take note of! We were treated like family whilst eating and drinking here which is something very rare, so needs to be commended. As for the quality of the food, it was absolutely outstanding and I am a very hard guy to please when eating out, so for me to use “outstanding” believe me, it really is in my opinion. The location is great, the atmosphere is great, the food is great and the staff are great. What more could anyone wish for when out for food and drinks? Thank you to everyone at the Cedar Door, you’re doing a great job 🙂

I enjoyed my time here. Sat outside in the nice open patio, had a couple of the appetizers. Their service was absolutely great. Great service is everything! Ordered the smoked wings. I would of loved for them to be more smokier and crispier. Not too many places serve smoke wings so this was something I was excited about but unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. But that’s ok, we had the OG white wings which made up for it. Martinis were also good. Definitely would come back here.

Nice bar downtown Austin lots of room to visit throughout the bar. It has decent food not a large selection. Bar staff were friendly and quick. They were playing older country music 90’s Parking is terrible espect to pay $14 hour in near by parking garage.

The food was great! We had Shishitos, which included one that was super spicy, we teased that it was probably a serrano pepper. The Brussel sprouts were yummy and sweet with a kick. The shrimp pasta was super creamy and tasty. The chicken fried steak was hearty with the mashed potatoes and greens. The burgers and brisket sandwich were full of flavor. I loved their fries. Our waitress was super friendly.

I was able to get a table quickly, but the service was slow beyond that. It took a while for the food to come out and the waitress only appeared a couple of times. No refills as she didn’t come back, but that’s OK. The prices were OK. They were high $$$ on certain items. The quality of the food wasn’t bad, but it was a little bland. The atmosphere was nice. It’s a bar with a modern look to it. They were also great at accommodating a seafood allergy.
