My husband and I went here before a Bulls/Pacers game. It is a great location since it is just a couple limited walk from away. We did spot hero and found a garage a block away. Food was good, I had the filet sliders with sweet potato fries and my husband had the smash burger with regular fries. The waitress was attentive and even offer drinks to go. Food came out really fast. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was very loud. Otherwise, a great place to eat.

The name of this restaurant and activity center is Punch Bowl Social. It is great for team events. The shareables and drinks were enjoyable. There are different activities and board games with some needing to reservations to play. Bowling fills up fast, so plan early.

Good food and great service! I had the fish and Chips! They were pretty good if you like salmon. Yes I say salmon. It was a cold night and lots of places downtown were closed at 830pm on a Tuesday. I was happy to have a good hot meal!

Ordered a local IPA from our server Hailey, she recommended Metazoa’s IPA and it was fresh and delicious! We also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken added. The lettuce was not very fresh, my wife had picked out many rotten pieces. Loved the interior fireplace, decent place to catch a game. Lots of TV’s around. If you need something late night it’s a good spot to stop. Ask for Hailey.

I debated whether or not I would leave a review for this restaurant, but ultimately decided after speaking with a friend and the SAME THING happened to him, I’d be wrong if I didn’t. My girlfriend and I decided to eat here after a pacer game. Unfortunately my girlfriend’s food had little black bugs on it. By far the most disgusting thing I’ve encountered in awhile. I couldn’t even finish my food with the thought that they’re probably in my food as well. My stomach felt weird for atleast 6 weeks after eating the food. I will NEVER be back due to that. I will say the owner took her food off the bill. Not my food, just my girlfriends. I’m sure if I made a big enough fuss about it, they probably would’ve taken mine off too, but tbh I was just disgusted and wanted to leave .

I really wanted to like The District Tap because of its prime location in downtown Indianapolis and the overall lively atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver. I came in expecting a decent meal and left disappointed—especially after spending nearly $17 on something that barely passed as average bar food.

I ordered the chicken tenders and French fries, and the entire plate was extremely underwhelming. Out of the four tenders, only two tasted fresh—crispy, hot, and cooked just right. The other two were clearly not made at the same time. They were dried out, rubbery, and tasted like they had been sitting in a warmer for a long while. The inconsistency in quality was obvious and disappointing.

The fries were just as uninspiring. Basic frozen fries you’d find in any grocery store—no seasoning, no crisp, no effort. They were bland and soggy by the time they reached the table. Absolutely nothing special, and definitely not worth the nearly $17 price tag.

Service was fine, and the vibe of the place is cool, especially if you’re just there for drinks or to catch a game. The bar area had a decent crowd and good energy, so I can see why people hang out here. But if you’re looking for quality food, this is not the spot. There are plenty of better dining options downtown. I might come back for a drink—but I definitely won’t be ordering food again.

I stopped in here while at a conference and enjoyed a perfectly cooked Cajun butter ribeye. There were a lot of other great looking dishes on the menu as well. The server was very friendly and kept the drinks coming quickly! I will definitely return on my next trip to Indy!

Stopped in this place and was happy we did. The food was hot, cooked to perfection along with an attentive server. All restaurants in the downtown area if Indy were full due to the Black Expo and WNBA All-Star events going on. I would definitely return to this establishment.

First time going here, on which dinner before the concert. Hostess was really sweet. Server was wonderful. Our appetizer came out right away. I don’t eat very much so they were really accommodating my husband and I split a meal. The food was absolutely amazing. We each had a cup of soup and we split the the Indy steak and cheese and it was absolutely amazing. And the french onion soup whisked to die for. They were super busy, but they were putting out food. That was wonderful hot and quick. They told us the wait was like forty five minutes and I don’t think we waited more than fifteen. And we were out there before even the time that they estimated that they would be taking us back to be dinning. We will be back soon.
