Phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere! The crab cake was incredible—all crab with no filling. The grilled shrimp tacos, local oysters, and crab hushpuppies were wonderful too. The drink menu is great, well thought out with a lot of fun beachy cocktails. And the service was exceptional—he brought our dog a bowl of ice water, with a pitcher for refills. We stopped in based on good reviews as we were passing through town and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience!

Just the right place for a lovely anniversary lunch! Friendly service and gorgeous view by the water. We enjoyed blackened shrimp Alfredo and a burger. We will be back!

Great atmosphere, great views of the marsh, inlets & barrier islands in the distance…Broiled flounder was good, large thick portion…it was not excellent though…Since Wachapreague bills itself as the “Flounder Capital of the World” I had to knock a star off…sides & bread very good
Staff was excellent…I was a waiter myself years ago….I know how it goes.. Recommended…

What an amazing place! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Had the calamari as an app, soft shelled crabs as my meal (phenomenal!!!) and the locally made smith island cake, which left me speechless!! Will definitely be back!

Rode out to Wachapreague for lunch. Great little water front location, will go again.

The service was slow, but friendly. I understand Eastern Shore is a laid back environment, but it wasn’t that kind of slow. They seem to be short-handed on servers while having multiple hostesses.

The food was okay, nothing wrong with it, just didn’t give me anything to write home about.

I’m sure they stay super busy with boating season, it appears you can arrive by boat. View is amazing. Asked hostess for outside seating and she said nothing was available. After getting seated at window side table and noticing two empty tables on deck, we asked our server if we could re-locate and she said it was no problem. There were several other parties on the deck, and we were a small party.

High prices on food, but also expected for a place out of the way on the Eastern Shore. They pay more for everything up there, and it’s normal.

The food was exceptional! The sweet potato biscuits were delicious! The fried oysters were so fresh I swear they took them straight off a boat, battered them, fried them, and served them to us. Hands down some of the best fried oysters we’ve had. The scallops, crab cakes, and flounder were all fresh, good, and broiled. The sides were okay ..fries, slaw, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The views are gorgeous! The little store is cute and has a nice variety of items. The bar is a happening place to hang out and Thursday is locals night so it was rocking tonight to the point you couldn’t talk without yelling because it was so loud and busy. The waitress and staff were friendly and good, but it took a while to get waited on after we were seated for our 7 pm reservation. The dining room and bar/lounge were packed so they were super busy tonight. Our waitress was top notch and we would return to eat here again, but we’d both get fried oysters next time!

Shirley was by far the most amazing waitress we’ve had! She not only made recommendations, but she shared the hidden gems of the area. What a great customer experience because of the quality dining experience, food and Shirley!! Thank you and I til next time.

This place is diamond in the rough. It is off the main road and a little bit of a drive. However, it is really worth it. I just had a salad, which was delicious.

Edit: Second year revisiting this place. The service was a little slower than usual. The food was still great! We had the burger and chicken sandwich. If you have the chance, sit it on the deck in the back it’s so beautiful!

I went during the solar eclipse which had the kitchen running out of foods sadly. But besides that fact the food was great, the location is amazing between it facing the water and all the boats. It’s beautiful to watch the sunset. The service I got from my server was great. I will say the bread they have is very good and never seen something like that before.
