Everything you would expect from a small town grocer. JDubs is the exception though. There customer service and helpful staff are beyond reproach. And there cooked chicken is mouth watering. Lets be honest, thier prices are higher. But I’d rather support local then big box.

Great small town, mom & pop store. They have what you need to avoid driving 15 miles to the “big town” chain grocery stores. The fresh departments are always clean and well stocked. The food in the deli (restaurant) is always good. Hand made burger patties and pork tenderloins are awesome! And the service is always friendly and helpful. The grill cook in the deli should be “employee of the month” every month, although I may be ~slightly~ biased since he is my husband.
The owners, Curt & Dawn, are absolutely amazing. They do so much for the community, and they take care of, and care about, their employees. “JDubs” as they are affectionately known, is all about community and family, and it shows.

Great selection of items plus they have an app that you can get additional in store savings. They have a small deli and kitchen area. Staff is very helpful plus they’ll help take your groceries to the car if you have a cart full. Nice atmosphere for a small town grocery store

I enjoy dining here, they have a great menu to choose from, the breaded tenderloin is my favorite, occasionally I’ll slip in for breakfast which is also good & I’ve loved their broasted chicken for over 40 years.

This is a hometown store. Patronized by many of the peoples of Kalona. They have a diversity of items, even has a deli. The meat department has really good quality meats. Very clean.
